Prediction - Mayweather vs Pacquiao ends up like PBF vs JMM - UD PBF
The only chance Pacquiao has is a punchers chance IMO. I am not a fanboy of PBF but his skills are there and I am a fan of boxers. I just don't remember ever seeing his chin tested.
As far as how I would take it if PBF lost. IMO Pacquiao is better for boxing than Mayweather so I wouldn't mind. Pacquiao wants to fight everyone and always puts on a good show. Good luck to both fighters. I just wished I could have seen Pacquiao fight someone different in the last 5 years to give a better prediction (Cotto, MAB, Morales, JMM, JD, etc... all fight coming forward, PBF doesn't)
Good Karma donations welcome (Bad Karma from someone later banned)
Great picture on your avatar...
You know I forgot about Williams, he would be a maybe in my mind. As far as tony I think floyd puts him off at least another year so tony will need to stay working to be ready for it.
I think this fight is going to be as bad as the Gatti fight. I predict PBF comes out and makes Baldi look like a C fighter. Mid round stop by Ref. Say round 6 or 7.
Just my guess...
Oscar is a promoter now. If PBF fights Sugar in Feb a couple of things could/will happen.
A. PBF could lose to Sugar. Just because Vernon has his number, doesn't mean PBF does. If Mayweather loses, you will see him go down in status quick because of his choice in comp lately.
A1. Oscar will lose money putting Sugar up against someone else, setting him up for the winner of PBF/Oscar.
Some people on this forum are younger, so let me explain something to you...
When you go to get a job the employer offers you X amount of money to work for him. You can choose to either accept that money, or try to negotiate and make a case of why you feel you should be paid more. At this point, the employer can either choose to agree with and give you the money you want, or not hire you and get someone else. PBF has to understand with the exception of 90's Tyson, Oscar runs PPV thus running the money in the sport. He is truly the Golden Boy.
For whoever said if PBF beats Baldi he will be the man and won't need Oscar...IMO that is a joke. If PBF comes out and dominates (which I suspect he will) people are going to discredit the win. PBF NEEDS (I repeat again NEEDS) a household name fighter like a Sugar or Oscar. If PBF loses people are going to say either he went to high in weight or look at the people he has fought lately. What a cycle...
Enough rambling....Bottom Line...
Don't bite the hand that can feed you....
Fight more....
Don't be so cocky, get the public on your side. Become that household name you want so bad....
Not fucking the thread up, was a good call. lol
Could be true about the movie. Didn't Klit make a comment about missing the ring or something like that?
If the fight could happen though, who wins @140?
I mean Pac did move up from 112 but Floyd has moved into 154 from 130. I don't think 135 is a stretch for Pac.
I don't think Pac has the skills to beat PBF at any weight. It isn't just about power. Pac doesn't have the acc to hit Floyd. He has never fought a fighter like PBF. Barrera, Morales, and even JMM will stand in front of you.
IMO Floyd dances circles around Pac any night. I can't say what would happen if Floyd was actually hit though. Has anyone ever had Floyd hurt?
I agree with you Pac hits harder p4p, at least it appears that way.
You can't discredit Taylor's power though. He did fight B-hop and Wright. Both aren't easy to knock out :)
I want to see Pac go up in Weight, to at least 135lbs. I want to see if his power carries over. I also want to see Pac vs JMM (If JMM is willing to go up in weight) and Pac vs MAB.
Pac brings excitement in to boxing.
He does seem a little biased though.
In one breath he talks about how exciting Pac is but when Taylor tries to do the same thing, says he needs more training (Can't remember exact words, something along those lines)
IMO Noone, and I mean noone has fought better comp in the last 2 years than Taylor. 2 fights with Hopkins (Most people's #1 p4p at the time) which he won on points (although I think Hop was kinda robbed) and fought to a draw with most people's number 2 p4p Wright.
The only diff is Pac was able to close the show. Well sorry Larry Taylor was unable to close the show against 2 of the best p4p fighters this decade.
Your post at least made more sense instead of calling names.
He did fight some of the greatest...but.
Part of being a fighter in brains. He didn't have enough to retire when he should have. Lennox and Marciano got out in time.
Don't post after me calling names cause I will give it back to you. If you want me to explain something or elaborate on something I will. Don't shit talk me first.
By the way your lips look pretty big. Do you enjoy sucking Ali's dick?
Oh no the internet soldier is going to start typing... LOL
You are a joke child.
Marciano - Only undefeated Heavyweight. Period. Ali lost what, 5 times?
Top of that I rate Lennox Lewis higher. 2 losses and both avenged. I agree with Foreman when it comes to Lewis over Ali.
Ali got so much attention because of the draft dodging while the other hippies were doing the same shit. Not to mention he became muslim.
As far as ali being the only fighter to cross over. Mike Tyson. He is still one of the most popular searches on the internet. Everyone who knows ali knows tyson.
Out of all of the heavyweights simliar to Evanders prime, where would you rank him?
Alot of fighters we are talking about. Top 15 maybe. I am not sure what you mean by "simliar to Evanders prime," though.
do u think those last rounds and then him at the end indicate that Taylor is damaged in anyway?
I don't think so. He wasn't staggered by the cut and it was on the top part of the head. I think he will heal and continue to be a great fighter.
PBF beat Corrales, Castillo twice, and Gatti. Who has Winky beat again thats worth mentioning? An out of class Mosley and Trinidad?
Good comment but people weren't saying that when Trinidad smashed Ricardo.
Floyd beat those guys in 01 and 02. As far as Gatti goes, as much as I wanted to see him win everyone knew it was a mismatch.
I think Floyd is going to fight Hatton (and knock him out) in the US. Hatton won't be able to WWE him like he did to Kotsya.
Then when Floyd steps up and fights someone with Skill (Sugar Shane, De La Hoya, Zab) and speed to match his I think he will be knocked out.
If he beats one of those guys or more then I will start giving him more credit. That is if Wright doesn't end up fighting and beating Taylor or B-Hop.
I think the only reason Hatton beat him is because of the WWE stunt he kept pulling. Which in the US would have got his ass DQed. Zoo doesn't have to worry about Mayweather trying to do that, this would be a good fight.
