if your talking p4p then no way. non of todays heavyweights could even get enar to beating the brown bomber in p4p terms.
I have him as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time. ali as number two, ali did more for boxing and sport but louis was the better fighter of the two.
Exactly what I was trying to say. Ali brought fans and was famous becasuse of the way he fought and his trash talking. Joe Louis WAS the better boxer of the two.
Yeah people have lots of different criterion for rating fighters to, some rate based on achivment and some rate based on who beats who. It's hard to compare.
I think Louis had everything, great boxer and he was very successful.
I rank Louis at #2 behind Ali and ahead of Jack Johnson.
I have to strongly disagree. Joe Louis was perfectly rounded and had possible the best accuracy I've ever seen.

Haha Apollo Creed, that should be Frazier
Louis or Lewis?
Thread title says Joe Louis so I'm guessing it was a mistake.
Joe Louis
This Joe Louis was a very good boxer. I always had him as number 1 above Muhammad Ali just because of how long he held the title. I always found his style of fighting much more entertaining.
I couldn't help but recall that quote from that interview, I guess Mike got Oprah.
I feel sorry for Oprah. Mike seems like he would bite her while having sex.
Oprahs a freak,,tyson hit that 4sho..smart move by tyson since oprahs already rich..no need to scream rape
Oprah is going to be digging Tysons shit today
Yeah the only thing he lacks is size (compared to biggest modern fighters) and his chin could be better. Great at pursuing and finishing off his opponents, Great power.
The only losses he really suffered were towards the downfall of his career, he was untouchable in his prime.
where do you rank Lennox Lewis?
