Unofficial: Does Mosley Deserve a shot against Mayweather

It makes sense for Mosely to fight Mayweather, because if he wins he gets the glory, if he loses he can always fall back on his advanced age. For Mayweather its a losing situation because if he wins people will just say Mosely was old. I dont really care about Mosely as long as he fights the winner of Pac/Cotto.

Floyd doesnt have a belt......all he has is the pretty record and that mythical title that he and Pac are playin' tug-a-war with!!!.....does Floyd deserve a shot at the TRUE WW champ Shane Mosley?!?.....that should be the REAL question......but in these days of PPV numbers and 24/7's it's Shane who has to ask for the fight......the blood that loves to compete should be bubbling in Floyd to fight Shane......but I guess a challenge is not what he's after....he's lookin' for EASY money.....can't knock his hustle but dam......he can't even keep being lame discreet!! :lol1:

Of course TECHNICALLY, Mosley is the Champion and SHOULD be the person choosing his opponents. But obviously right now, FMJ dictates who he fights, because let's face it, everyone at this point wants to fight him.

He's the best welterweight in the world right now. It should be does Floyd deserve a shot at Mosley's crown, considering Sugar Shane is the champ and Floyd hasn't fought a welterweight in 3 years.

I personally believe Mosley deserves a shot. Mosley as of now would have had a good chance of beating anybody Mayweather beat. Not saying Mosley will beat FMJ, but he has a good of a chance than any other WW. only idiots say mosley shouldn't be pbf's next opponent if not the winner of pac/cotto.

Is Mayweather the champion? Since when do we discuss the champion "deserving a shot" against a contender....the 5th best Welterweight? How did the sport get turned so upside down? Deserve is a bad word, he's a former drug abuser for crying out loud. A real Floyd fan would wanna see the fight off GP just to see their man school Mosley. Cotto was too quick and too skilled for Mosley two years ago, Mayweather will carve him up like nothing. There are better challenges for Mayweather. I think Berto would give a better fight than Mosley would

Yes, he deserve it. He's the top guy in the division, has a great name and there's no one else for Floyd. I really think that Floyd would beat him if they fight and that's more frustrating.
