Idk why fighters dont punch the jab arm. If I were training a fighter to fight a tree like Fundora, we'd train to break down that lead arm. Punch the inside of the bicep and punch down on the forearm.
Oscar should pull a Bob Arum and sit Ortiz out for a couple years, Ortiz isnt beating Boots anyway. I noticed Oscar (low key) tries to protect these guys because deep down he knows they arent as good as he promotes them.

I think Oscar knows deep down Vergil loses to boots and didnt want to risk it. Sorta like how he protected Munguia and Canelo because all lose the second they face a skilled boxer.
