My thoughts exactly.

Fundora looking better and better, if you don’t land that big Hail Mary on him your in range for about 3 or 4 combos, tough ask. Hope Keith calls it a day and gets a Comms gig asap. 154 we got Ortiz boots Fundora Zayas, f yeah
Nope, he was still trying. You don't stop it when a fighter is still trying and throwing. Many punches are hitting gloves and arms.
The only thing he was trying was to avoid getting knocked out. He wasnt trying and he wasnt throwing punches. He was running backwards and putting an ocassional stick out that was met with three or more shots to the head. I love thurman but he ended up a bloated bloody mess. There was no way out at that point.
Idk why fighters dont punch the jab arm. If I were training a fighter to fight a tree like Fundora, we'd train to break down that lead arm. Punch the inside of the bicep and punch down on the forearm.
Thurman should have took the Tim Tszyu fight. At least he wouldn't have had to deal with the range and height. He would be able to land on Tszyu. I still think Tszyu would beat Thurman at this stage. Thurman hasn't proven anything for years...AND has never proven himself at 154.
Thurman's corner was very close to stopping the fight. Most of those finishing flurries by Fundora were not clean..., mostly scraping punches that were accumulating. BUT Thurman barely had even a moment of success in this fight. He was close to the end of his ability to withstand the heat.
Fundora hasn't put the amount of leather on the opponent as usual, most are halfway to elephant man by now. Will be start to press and fall in trying to do more
Took about 1 more round to do the same. Yikes :scared:
Nah. Thurman was getting shellacked and not doing much of anything.
