Big Dumb baiting and switching for Larry and Broner now....
Big Dumb is the same person as Curtis Harper and Aboutfukntime. I believe they’re all alts of his.
Broner is an undefeated, multiple weight champion below 147 lbs. If he never goes to 147 ( which means if he kept himself in the best shape possible to stay below 147 for as long as possible) not only is he likely one of the better fighters this decade but then maybe Larry’s prediction comes true.
Perspective gets lost in all of Broner’s antics in and out of the ring, but he is a classic example of a boxer that “maxed out” at a certain weight. Happens often in boxing.
Same could be said for a guy like Erik Morales who is considerably better than Broner, that didn’t find much success above 135.
Broner’s personality and constant need to be flashy and brash is what led to his downfall!
Hahaha you’re an absolute idiot! I don’t know who’s dumber between you and Curtis Harper! Maybe you’re the same person, both alts!
My god you really are The Big Dumb!
im calling it now.....anyone doubt me?
Broner was being hailed as the next Floyd and next fighter of the decade, and Manny just whooped his arse this past January at age 40.
Broner and Thurman both got destroyed by Manny.
Awesome wins for Pac.
this thread is a ATG, it also encapsulates what Larry knows about boxing - i.e nothing, but base his worthless opinions & predictions on race.
Lmao.
Is it just me?
Or does everybody else also attach a particular voice and sarcasm to these posts when you read them?
You have said for years Manny was using peds because he was knocking out guys from higher divisions from where he started from. Where they started at has always been relevant to you.
Lmao Manny has always packed a mean left punch, he never touched any ped’s.
Floyd did tho, it’s a fact
Call me crazy, but I'm getting the sense that the UFC is going to get into Boxing.
There is no "brand" in the sport of Boxing.
When you say Football, you think The NFL
When you say Basketball, you think The NBA
When you say MMA, you think The UFC
When you say Boxing, ......?
The sport is there for the taking. It'd be an aggressive step, and take a huge commitment, and I think WME-IMG will be making a play to try to takeover Boxing.
WME-IMG made a huge investment in this thing (the UFC) and I think they see potential in Boxing. To establish themselves in the sport of Boxing in the "UFC" style.
Listen to Richard Schaefer speak about the idea behind starting the World Boxing Super Series
Listen to Dana White maybe hinting at something (I'm reaching here, admittedly, but still)
Think of the level of commitment/that kind of investment, and the potential in adding another sport
Think of TV distribution rights that the UFC has already established, and the potential multi-platforms
....
That would actually be pretty dope and it would organize the sport better. It would prevent cherry picking and ducking, or fraudulent victories a la Mayweather.
Keith Thurman explained that he got suspended by cut in his lip that needed stitching which was not shown in replays during the fight

His mouthpiece got knocked out in the end of round 5
via GIPHY
Damn that boy Thurman got busted up!
PAC still packing heat!
No ones giving Keith any credit for never quitting and taking his loss like a man!
That bodyshot he got hit with would’ve floored 80% of the welterweight division especially if they come to fight like Keith did!
Thurman maybe injury prone but he’s a warrior and very tough and strong, hope he makes a full recovery an comes back as healthy as he can be as he is an excellent addition to the welterweight division!
Keith boxed well. He made a valiant effort in the mid-late rounds, just wasn’t enough to take out the superior top 5 ATG boxer Emmanuel. Manny is WAAYYY past his prime but like Bradley says, Manny was so good that his B/C game is still better than the elite welter’s A game.
Nothing you write is witty.
Good, so if he was then he was fully healed from the JMM ko and it should never be used as an excuse for losing to Floyd.
Your logic isn’t making any sense dumb dumb. Try again.
I agree, there's stupid notion that "losing" somehow automatically makes fighter worse.
There are fighters losing in amateurs all the time, guy can lose early in big tournament - then win the next big tournament.
It depends on the fashion - I mean if You lose to a journeymen or take terrible 12 round beating, then it can definitely carry effect... but what's the relevance of Golovkin coming off loss to Canelo with the way fight looked? Or Harrison now coming off loss to Charlo - with how great of a fight that was. I'd watch Harrison with anyone at 154, I still rank him above dude like Munguia who is undefeated but hasn't fought anyone on the level of Charlo.
NSB is just filled with excuses after excuses.
Well you are only as good as your last fight man, who gets huge credit for beating a guy who just lost?
Wins and losses are the name of the game brother. Every fight is different. Boxers will lose a round and then win the next. Stop making excuses for your favorite and/or least favorite fighters. Just stop.
ATG greats have fought average guys and looked to struggle and then perform stellar in the next fight,
Ahh, so you do admit it.
Great boxers can look and struggle against average ones.
Like Thurman did against Josesito, but still got the win.
Prime Thurman, lost to Manny.
PAC is just that great.
Ring Magazine has him the 6th best pound for pound fighter in the world. Very funny. Some crazy joke. hahahahahahahaha. If he makes the fucing weight then he has followed the rules of boxing and bullied nobody FFS. He weighed 156 on fight night for Ocampo and Crawford weighed 157 on fight night for Horn so if Spence is this mythical weight bully so is Crawford. No such thing as a weight bully but that's the excuse for losing to Spence who never once missed weight on the first try.
Lol ease up on the Red Bull’s brotha!
Spence is overrated and we will see that come fight day.
Crawford will beat him, he has superior ring IQ and his style will be difficult for Spence.
He has been well marketed, at this point it kinda reminds me of GGG 5 years ago.
His resume is weak, but people in his division are not in a hurry to fight him.
Sounds about right.
I compare the current boxers to the previous generation of boxers. With that standard in mind, the current boxers just ain’t cutting it. Lots more ducking, padded records, and hype trains these days.
When you look at what previous boxers had accomplished at the age Crawford and Spence are at, its not even comparison.
They used to fight top leve competition immediately, fight after fight. Now it’s more delays, lots more “tune-up” fights, excuses, controversial decisions, etc. This is probably the greatest contributing factor in boxing’s decline in popularity and overall ppv sales...
How many times yall gonna use that Mikey Garcia fight to shyt on Spence and disregard the fact that he chose to box him after being pissed off by team Garcia and Sugar Ray Leonard when they kept saying he was more skilled.
That was literally the first thing he brought up after winning.
You bring up some interesting points there bud. Let me simplify it for the rest of the fellas here.
Translation: “Excuses Excuses”
I say no Cotto has a pretty decent resume if you put him in today's 147 game I think he beats most of the welters today
I agree. Cotto would take most of today’s welters.
And no, he’s not a fraud. Good resume, solid career.
You guys need to stop making excuses for every single fight on a fighters resume just because you’re not a fan of his. It’s getting ridiculous on here. Excuse after excuse.
Agreed. It's become a boxing cliche, but as with everything..context is needed. Each case is not always the same.
It’s most definitely an excuse thrown around here at will.
It’s silly and sad we can’t have logical discussions about boxing simply because salty fans want to insist on trolling speaking nonsense. Not much better things to do with their time I suppose.
Agreed. Don't ever use Manny losing to KO by JMM as justification for taking credit away from Floyd for beating him.
Except Manny was coming off an Algieri victory before Floyd.
Lmao, u can’t even make a witty joke properly!
U tried but failed!
Next time dumb dumb.
Spence beats Crawfish. Crawfish ain't leaving the safety of Top Rank to get that work.
But Thurman is the most overrated fighter at 147. Someone got knocked down by then lost to the washed version of Pacquiao and it wasn't Spence or Crawford.
Disagree, I think Crawford figures Spence out quickly and then picks him apart.
