Yeah I have it on bluray, doesn't everyone?
I meant that Feigenbutz never should have gotten that decision. De Carolis beat him clearly the first time around.
Hopefully the judges get it right this time, does Feigenbutz have much popularity/power behind him?
He is not very popular in Germany and after his terrible comments on the first fight he got some bad press and probably isn't very liked over here. But he got the biggest german promoter behind him and Sauerland don't have much young talent nowadays in Germany. Feigenbutz and Zeuge are the most interesting young talents they have. So I could see them give him the decision again, just to have that useless WBA-Titel and maybe defend it against Sturm or "unify" (what a joke to use that word here) with Abraham. That would be a good fight for Germany. But Feigenbutz looked terrible in the first fight. In my opinion he only got a punchers chance (if the judges are fair) against most Top-40 guys at 168.
"only people in Mexico and Philippines care about this fight"
1mil US ppvs
:D
Sulaiman is an idiot. I'm from Germany and I can't wait for the fight to happen.
Rematching someone you already beat for a vacant WBA 'lower' title is about as easy as it gets so he can't have been willing to do all that much really.
Have you seen the first fight?
Calderon will most likely go into the HoF and may very well be regarded as one of the greatest little men to ever lace them up. Go away
Amen! In his prime the 2nd best strawweight I've ever seen, behind Ricardo Lopez.
Why are you looking forward to it? What can they do that you haven't already seen before in their first 3 fights?
The only thing that gives this fight some importance to me is that JMM gets a chance to finally get an official win over Pac (which he deserves), that's the only reason why I don't think it's totally meaningless.
You mentioned it yourself ;)
Why is so much hate going on here? I just dont get it.
It was a very good fight, indeed a war for some of the rounds. Juanma looked very good in the 7th and 8th and Marquez showed his big heart by trading back, while getting hit with vicious blows. Full credit to Juanma for this win! And full credit to the blood & guts warrior, that Marquez is. Very sad, this shoulder injury came in (which I believe is true, because Marquez didnt throw the right at all in the last rounds).
Peace!
(sorry for mistakes, i'm from germany)
