i think you commenting on an obscure fighter from germany whom you have never shown even the slightest inkling of interest in shows that for whatever reason you feel the need to contribute for the sake of saying you posted in a NSB thread. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see this fight last night; can anyone give me a brief synopsis of the fight? Was either fighter ever hurt? How was the action?...
the first five rounds were dominated by chambers, great defense, great shots, really fast, hard ones. one caused povetkins eye to swell immediatly and from there on , chambers suddenly stopped throwing punches, still a good defense, povetkin had a hard time giving clean shots, and that kinda went on till 12th round. and overall i didn't see a lot of good combo's either. and no injuries worth naming, besides the one from povetkin.
i just don't understand why he stopped throwing punches.. at first i thought he was trying to make povetkin tired or something, but after that 4th or 5th round he never got back in action. if he'd went on with the same speed and accuracy as in the first rounds, he would probably have won. as of povetkin, i believe he's good, but not good enough to beat klitschko. he didn't really prove his skills in the fight against chambers either, since winning against someone that doesn't strike back, isn't really a form of art.
