Forget the WBC belt. That's nothing. All that old school "You have to take the title from the champ" is a buncha bs. Floyd won at least 8 rounds in that fight.........bottom line. No matter what that one judge says.
Damn I wish more people realized the bold. If that is the case the scales in the fight is already tilted towards the champion which cheating. A opponent should not start off the fight at a disadvantage that the champion has nothing to do with.
that's just how i scored it....keep in mind oscar was the WBC champ at the time and on the rounds that oscar won floyd was not active enough, anyone could agree on that, you know that

I think the 52 million that Oscar made in the last Floyd fight should be enough for him, but since it will now be 10 years since Oscar peaked (last time he was #1 p4p), I don't see how an older, slower, weight drained (the fight seems to be under 154 this time) Oscar stands any chance this time. If I already know the outcome of a fight, I have no desire to see it.
so you had no intrest in seeing fights like tyson vs douglas, or carlos vs zab, oscar at his age gave him a good fight, but this time around it seems floyd is going to be comeing out of a long layoff and oscar will have a tune up fight. he might do better he might lose, if he gets the jab working like in the rounds he won i belive he can win. will he maybe not but the fact that Mayweather actually faught toe to toe with hatton makes this fight a lot more intresting
do you really think that oscar needs more money? a win over floyd if he can pull it off would be bigger then any payday he has gotten
Does he need the money? Are you serious? Look at my avatar and tell me if I think he needs the money? j/k

I want this fight to happen, no matter who wins. It will just be a great entertainment. Complain all you want about Floyd not fighting this guy or that guy and nothing changes it.
It's doesn't really matter if he deserves it or not, it's in the contract for money reasons, not to prove who's better. Didn't DLH lose a belt in that fight?

Nice avatar.
Yea the fight was close, but I have watched it many times and I gave DLH the benefit of the doubt, and still I have PBF winning. Of course Taylor-Pavlik is not questionable, he got KO'd, but Taylor was ahead in the scorecards, (he shouldn't have been) and he almost KO'd him. DLH lost a decision. It wasn't a KO, where you could say PBF got lucky. He was clearly the better skilled fighter in that fight. Also, like I said, DLH is not getting better as time passes. PBF would gain nothing from this fight other than money. I think most fans don't want to see this fight. It will be just as boring as the first one.
ive made a thread on both fights i would love to continue a decent discusion on there if you would like.
da la hoya put up a decent fight with only one fight going into it, no matter how big of a pro you are if your not acctive and takeing real punches you will tire and take a while to get started, and know both fighters know each other a bit more and oscar is going to come into this fight with some acctivity
DLH was the champion, and the fight was close.
I dont think theres one person out there who would say taylor won his fight, but there are many opinions who say oscar won or they saw a draw. maybe mayweather does win it bigger then before, then he would have a clear unquestioned victory.( peoples scores besides the judges dont matter to me)Yea the fight was close, but I have watched it many times and I gave DLH the benefit of the doubt, and still I have PBF winning. Are you serious? The rematch with PBF-DLH, PBF will win better then last time. DLH is not getting any younger. Taylor was the man to beat when Pavlik fought him, he deserves a rematch. I don't think DLH does.

thats one of the worst scores ive ever seen
ferocity > you.

the fight was close and to say other wise is dumb. mayweather clearly won the fight but it was close.
taylor got his ass beat by pavlik but people arent bitching about that rematch.

clear rounds for dlh 2,4,6,8,9 and round 3 even 114-114
rounds for floyd 1,5,7,10,11,12 and round 3 even
I'm sorry but I beg to differ, it goes back to what I said in another thread about how can you convince someone to see your opinion when they are watching the SAME EXACT fight and see it completely different, there's no room for debate so I wont even get into it but I will say this though, me and MANY people, MANY MANY people disagree, I respect your opinion but it just doesn't coicide with mines, I guess thats the thrill of Boxing..
