Devon Alexander..

fighting right now

Yup, kid can't even buy a beer yet but he's already making a good impression on boxing fans. I haven't seen anyone say anything bad about him. I'd like to see him fight Junior Witter. haha just move right up and fight witter, that would be sick, maybe a fight with Ngoudjo or Holt those could be good step up fights as I talked with someone else about yesterday.

Yeah, I remember us talking. I don't see him fitting into the current picture but as skills pointed out, it would most likely be a gradual thing, and in 2 years time who knows what the Welterweight picture will look like? Some of the guys there now look like Middleweights. yeah that is also a very solid point , anyways the kid impressed me can't wait to see who he fights next

i was impressed by Alexander , i think i agreed with the bringer last night when we also talked about how he would do at welter he just isn't ready for it, right now he's a solid kid at 140 an accurate puncher and has a nice right hook and jab Yeah, I remember us talking. It might not be so hot anymore, just look at the Jr MW division, it was STACKED a bit earlier but now it is..............meh. My thoughts exactly. I don't see the division being as stacked as it is now by the time Alexander gets there, which will make it easier on him to become a standout star with his level of talent. I can see Paul Williams and Kermit Cintron moving up within another year or two, they're just too fucking big for that division. I'd say Margarito is too but I think he's bound to stay in whatever division Mayweather is in for as long as he possibly can. So that when Mayweather exhausts every other possibility Marg may finally get his chance.

I could've swore I heard something along the lines of how good he could be in the Welterweight division, and how with something like "10 super fighters" already in that division (10? really?) Alexander could shift the picture around a bit. Anyways, you are probably right on that one. A gradual weight gain to set up a journey to Welterweight in the coming years would be a smarter move seeing how young the kid is right now. He didn't say that. He said Alexander is 20 years old and judging by how broad his shoulders where they were saying his body would eventually grow into that of a welterweight. He's louder throwing punches in the ring than Ricky Hatton is throwing punches in training. Other than that he's as solid a fighter I've seen in recent years. However I think it's common knowledge that "Chop Chop" was at the tail end of his career, I'd like to see Alexander in against another opponet of his level until I comment further. Also, Jim Lampley is out of his mind wanting to see him at Welterweight I don't think he has what it takes just yet to jump in there with those guys. He didn't say that. he is too loud other then that he was good. lol yea that was just annoying, at first i didn't know what the hell that sound was till demirturk told me.. damn i wished the other guy would knock him out just to shut him up
