I've just watched the fight again myself and 'stunned and wobbling' is a complete exaggeration. Carl took a couple of good shots and it took him about 2 seconds to recover. He won the round and gave as good as he got. If he beats Groves he has options, and he's earned them the hard way. You don't have to like the guy but he deserves respect.

For Geale being so dominant in the fight and Mundine being deducted a point, 116-112 is a pretty close score.
I'm pretty sure he didn't have any points deducted, although he must have been warned about 5 times for use of the head and elbow. The scores were a lot closer than they should've been in the end, Geale won very convincingly for me.

It always comes down to the same criticism with Naz.. That he stepped up and got completely outclassed and embarrassed by Barrera. Sometimes I wonder how many o these critics actually watched the fight. He went the full 12 with an all time great in his absolute prime and bagged a few rounds himself along the way. There's no disgrace or embarrassment in that. It's easy not to like Naz because he was arrogant and thats obviously where a lot of the hate comes from, but the guy was extremely unorthodox, a rare talent and did great things in a relatively short career. I hope he's gonna be ok. I loved Katsidis ever since I saw his fight with Graham Earl years back. Not too technically gifted but an absolutely world-class brawler, if you get what I mean. His fights with Amonsot and Casamayor were two of my favourites, and it was great to see him put a whooping on Kevin Mitchell after the tremendous amount of hype Mitchell had been getting. His body has been slowing up lately, but his last few performances are not a true reflection of what he was capable of at his best. I hope they've found whatever is wrong before it's got to the stage where he'll face problems in the future. I wish him all the best. A true warrior.
