The always well informed tabloid Bild wrote yesterday that WBO super middleweight champ Arthur Abraham, 36-3, will defend the title against the man he won the title from, Robert Stieglitz, 42-3, March 23 in Magdeburg and quotes Abraham himself as source.

The fight is however not confirmed by neither Sauerland Event nor SES.

The biggest obstacle appears to be the legal troubles Stieglitz may face after he apparently assaulted his father-in-law in what appeared to be a messy faimly affair.

Stieglitz has claimed self defence.

Abraham stopped Mehdi Bouadla in his last fight in December while Stieglitz fights tonight in Barcelona, Spain, against decent Pole Michal Nieroda, 10-2.
