Everyone knows they're corrupt and biased, but what fires me up is Sulaiman pushing his bad English on us with his inept and grammatically ludricrous press releases and statements. The guy refuses to hire a translator and/or editor when he puts communications out there, making the WBC org. seem even more incapable and unwilling to understand their unacceptable mgmt.
Haye Lovers Everywhere...
The Klitschkos are taking fights now that Haye wouldn't dare, Wlad just put together a fight with Adamek quicker than Haye has in about 2 yrs. And Haye has the nerve to say that the K's are ruining the sport. Why doesn't he just retire now because he's irrelevant. Klitschkos paid him back good.
with the wbc practically willing to strip their champs at jrmiddle and middle and give them "emeritus" status just to hand the title to JCCjr, of course he'll have it without deserving it.
Just figured out what Haye's plan is: run out the clock, retire and then say that he moved heaven and hell to get the Klitschkos to fight but THEY wouldn't do it. What a B U M. Legacy my ass.
I like Bradley for the top spot in the division, but Roach has changed Khan's style up enough that he could likely beat Bradley. As much as I hate Khan, he has almost a 4in height advantage and fights exclusively on the outside. Last night Bradley's strengths were neutralized from the outside. Its hard to see Bradley finding the answers to Khan's style of flurry and run, flurry and run.
"...one man who isn't quite sold yet..." There are probably only a handful who are. He makes too much money for his handlers to just for them to throw him to the meat grinder. Martinez: never. Alvarez: too much money to say no; even if he loses, he'll be set for life.
As much as I like Kessler, I don't want to see another rematch with Ward. It'll be the same result, so I see why he's making noise with another fighter. Bute and Froch part2 would be just fine, thank you.
Stupid Wlad. Haye's only going to back out at the last minute again and leave you without any plans. Didn't you learn the first time? Vitaly wouldn't have pulled out the first time, or the second time. In my opinion, Vitaly was always better. Haye wants Wlad because he's the weakest.
Get Goossen out of there. Pwill needs a promoter who keeps him busy and doesn't kill potential fights with demands. I say unfinished business with Cintron. Start there.
Chavez' brain trust must have just seen tapes of Zbik. They're already looking for an out. And the WBC will be there to cushion him with the mandatory shot at Pacquiao's vacated WBC jr middle title. You know it!
Can't believe this fight's actually happening. Man oh man. The last time I was this jazzed about a fight was Martinez-Williams2. And before that, I can't even remember. Pac doesn't even come close to bringing this kind of excitement anymore. Calling Donaire "the next" is disrespectful to Nonito.
Gotta like Martinez, but why the hell is he still sporting all that WBC hardware? They stripped him twice - JrMiddle and Middle. Don't have to kiss ass anymore, you're on top. Just don't get too cocky. KO over Pirog will put you ahead of Manny in the P4P spot.
Well...that last paragraph was all I needed to hear from him to know for sure and without a doubt that he pulled out on purpose to try and make the fight at a later time. HBO already canned him, and I hope Showtime does the same. He belongs on ESPN undercards.
The WBC had to strip Martinez. No way in hell Chavezjr had even the slightest chance against him. Man, they sure are determined to make him a champion, by hook or crook.
****ty awards. I knew they were going to throw in ChavezJr and Canelo. They didn't even accomplish anything. Surprised they didn't pat themselves on the back and add an extra column for pac's record-breaking title in his 8th division being the WBC Jr middleweight belt.
Hype of the year goes to (drumroll): ChavezJr.
i'm sure now that 147's the limit, he'll make the smaller guys fight at his higher weight and demand his opponents meet a minimum weight, forcing them to keep it on until weigh-in.
Pavlik straight-up sucks. Anyone trying to make a comeback at age 28 and who marks the time his problems began as the moment immediately after the greatest win of his career - in 2008 - is a loser. Back to tomato can status. Back to the end of the line.
who does roach think he's foolin'? Mosley has never been a knockout fighter, he just takes them when they come. Mayweather could have knocked Shane out if he wanted to, so when Pac claims to be "the only man to ever knock shane mosely out" it'll be kind of pointless, just like being a "former jr middle wt champ.":bs2:
Chavez was already talking about moving back down to jr middle last week. He'll find some way out of this if the fight isn't in Mexico. Arum took a jab at HBO with that Golden Boy comment, didn't he?
