Don't lie you didn't go to a damn food run, it took you half an hour to make this sorry @ss of a reply. I can't tell if you're playing dumb or it's just your nature.
You didn't say sh!t that resembled that article. You said Marquez came crying to his lawyers and that GBP screwed him. If you actually read that article, JMM didn't run to his lawyers and in fact agreed to up the limit. GBP didn't screw JMM and in fact JMM tried to help GBP by making the change in his initial contract and initialing them.
Floyd did all the crying and tried to get the weight change at the VERY last minute of the weigh-in LOL.
"According to the source"... lmao... #LOSING
Wow you are really dumb.
You don't understand, it's ok that you're a casual boxing fan (Flomo).
Oh, I get what you're saying... Fact is Marquez should have never moved up 2 classes to fight him... But it was cool with Manny did it to De La Hoya though right :)
look here you clown , if he couldn't make the weight it doesnt mean it was ok , they will penalize his ass , thats what you get for not abiding the contract, stop embarassing yourself
If it's not a title fight, what the **** does it matter about making weight??? There was no title on the line... that's the only time people are on pins and needles anyways... Stop that... Me 5 You 0
Its up to the fighter if he still wants to continue the fight or not. Unless, youve seen this stipulation in this contract.
Were you able to view this particular stipulation in this contract?
There was no foul play, Marquez went to his lawyers and there was nothing he could do but take the money... Golden Boy ****ed him...
Didn't you know that Floyd was so scare of Margarito he leave Top Rank and turn down 8 million dollar to make almost 40 million instead!!! omg he so scare margarito he run away duck him forever!!!! Floyd so scare of Manny he pretend he afraid of needles! Can you believe that!?!?! He such a coward he pretend he scare of needles to run away from Manny "PACMEN" Pacquiao!!!!!
LOL right...
why wouldn't you honor a contract? cause you could buy it out ? your dumber than i thought , next retard plss
Stupid... The contract said he could walk in at any weight that he wanted... The fight was "advertised" as a catchweight, but he could do what he wanted to do... The fight was reported to the NSAC as a 147 fight.... Me 3 You 0
"According to the source"... lmao... #LOSING
Aight, I've gone back and tried to find this article on boxingscene with Schaefer talking but I can't find it... But according to these sources, JMM was willlingly going to change the fight's weight right? Why in the **** was dude so shocked at the weigh in? If Marquez signed off on the weight before the fight, why wasn't it turned in on time, and why did Floyd have to pay a penalty in the first place? I think somebody would turn in some **** a day or two early to save themselves 600k... LOL... Like I said... after the weigh in, dude went to his lawyers, and came back empty handed... "Those Sources" can eat **** and die...
You're a retard again and continue taking them L's. Marquez's camp knew that Floyd would be coming in overweight. Why? Because Floyd came running to GBP to try to get the commission to change the agreed weight limit, but Marquez's contract was already signed and Floyd's request was rejected because it was filed past the deadline date.
Source
Just throw in the towel and stop taking them L's :boxing:
You don't know what the fvck you're talking about and you're looking like an idiot in your own thread.
:back from my food run:
I said everything that was said in this very article... you proved nothing... The fight was reported to the NSAC as 147 just as I said... And he paid the penalty (THE OLD CONTRACT PENALTY) of 300k per pound... Can you read???
Don't lie you didn't go to a damn food run, it took you half an hour to make this sorry @ss of a reply. I can't tell if you're playing dumb or it's just your nature.

I don't have to lie about what I'm doing... Me 4 You 0

 you're so dumb.
You're taking an L for this one.
So the catchweight was for Floyd's advantage? Because JMM was bigger than him, so Floyd was draining JMM to make up for Floyd being Smaller than him, right? Oh ok... Me 1 You 0
Again, you're dumb. Who called the shots in that fight? Don't tell me Pac had control over DLH. DLH wanted to fight him in that weight, Pac even took a pay cut to shut him up.
Marquez took a payday, Floyd didn't even come in at the agreed weight.
That's what happens when you underestimate someone who fights 3 weightclasses below you... you drain yourself to meet in the middle and fight out you aren't that same person from 11 years prior... Floyd paid the cost of violating the contract... You act like he said NO I'M NOT PAYING and beat Marquez... Stop That
I'm #WINNING
Clottey - Vacant IBF Title Winner (Later). During Floyd's 147 era, he had only fought 1 champion or former champion, which was Antonio Margarito.
Antonio Margarito - Vacant WBO Title Winner. During Floyd's 147 era, had only fought 3 champions or former champions. Andrew Lewis (Old WBA Champ), Paul Williams (Who he just lost the belt to), and Kermit Cintron (Who won Floyd's vacated IBF Belt he won from Judah) who was a paper champ.
Cotto - Vacant WBA Title Winner. During Floyd's 147 era, he beat fought 2 champions or former champions. Zab Judah (Floyd already beat) & Shane Mosley (Hometown decision) .
So ask yourself... when Floyd was the Lineal Champ of 147 back in 2006-2008... exactly who were these guys back then?
so floyd can come overweight as long as he can afford it ? 10 million a pound in a 50 million purse , he can go 4 lbs overboard and still have 10 mil in his pocket and that would be ok , you should finish grade 2 !!!!! go back to school
The penalty that fight was 300k per pound... He paid JMM 600k and came in at 146 (The catchweight was for 144)... If he couldn't make the weight then he couldn't make it... Why De La Hoya yourself and come in dead trying to lose pounds that you know your body refuses to shed? Me 4 You 0
only reason manny 's getting discredited is because he made all his opponents look like bums which makes floyds look better , dont hate pac cause he's floorin the competition
I'm not here to discredit anyone, I'm laying out FACTS and FACTS only... no emotion is being used... You can look at what I posted and say ok, or you can deny it and look like an idiot... Even if you don't like Floyd you can agree with the data being presented...
LOL
only 4 of 6 of those were welterweight champs- not 5
Fighting a lightweight and super lightweight at the welterweight limit doesn't count as a welterweight fight
Shane mosley was coming off a 2 year vacation- not a knockout win.
Just because Floyd ignored the catchweight with marquez doesn't mean it wasn't a catchweight fight.
wow... do you know what you're talking about at all?
1. Judah - 147 IBF Champ (Won from Spinks)(Baldomir only payed for WBC so he retained it)
2. Baldomir - 147 WBC Champ (Won from Judah)
3. De La Hoya - 147 WBC Champ (Won from Whitaker)
4. Hatton - 147 WBA Champ (Won from Collazo)
5. Marquez never 147 Champ
6. Shane Mosley - 147 WBC (Won from DLH), 147 Super WBA Champ (Won from Margarito)... Also, Shane Mosley didn't want to fight Paul Williams during his off time, and was only looking for big money fights with Pacquiao and Mayweather... Had a fight booked in December with Clottey but it was canceled, took fight with Berto, then Earthquake came... It's his own fault for his inactivity before the Mayweather fight...
It's interesting you say that; I have a video of the so called HOF'er Shane Mosley saying in 2006 that when he returns to 147, that he'll be eyeing fights for Hatton & Baldomir... I swore Cotto was still at 140 back then... and Margarito was still fighting on ESPN... and Clottey... was... nobody lol
and it was for marquez's advantage? this is just dumb
Supposedly... However the catchweight didn't have to be honored, and that was by contract... Floyd could walk in at 147 and pay the fee if he wanted.
what does a title have to do with abiding the contract you signed? you really are retarded , you got served
Again... The contract he signed said he can walk in at any weight he wanted... He just has to pay 300k per pound over 144... It didn't say NO 144, NO FIGHT... Me 6 You 0
I swear to God man. How someone can expect pac to look good against a guy who basically had no intention to fight back and just focus on surviving and defense is mind boggling.
Mike Tyson did it, from 1985 - 1991... Thanks!™
I watched the fight again.
And Shane lost every round. Lets get that out of the way.
But Shanes lazy pathetic jab. His lazy head movement. His constant circling and fighting ont he back foot actually make Pac look very ordinary.
It was shocking how open Pac was for counters. He was wide open. It was crazy to watch a second time. Mosley just could not shoot the right. He even flinched it and pulled back a lot of right hands. Floyd wont.
Honestly, that killed my hopes for the chance that a Pac-Floyd could be epic. It wont. Floyd will counter, pivot, shoot the right hand and BANG Pac to the body like crazy. My goodness not to mention Floyd will shoot that jab to the body all night.
It will be a sad sight watching Floyd undress Manny and reducing his workrate worse than Shane reduced it.
That fight left a sick feeling in my stomach. Pac-Floyd will not be the epic battle of will we thought it would be.
This man speaks the truth...
