This from a boxer's point of view that seemed NON-BIASED. Mosley actually did good until he got hit with a quick sledgehammer on the side of his head on 3rd round and didn't want to fight face to face from then on.
He should have just quit but he was saving face and just jabbed and ran. (which isn't a bad strategy provided that he would attack occasionally or attack in between) But this showed that Mosley got scared of Pacquiao.
WIth Floyd Jr., I think that this could be the same effect too if he fights Manny. But if Manny catches Floyd with those quick 1-2 and bring him down, Floyd would probably challenge it more than Mosley.
But here's the caveat, Chop Chop Corley at least can speak the truth - I will give him props for that. Pacquiao isn't perfect but nobody has figured him out just yet likewise. Marquez is a technician but with Pacquiao at 145, he packs a very strong and fast combo.
I think that Pacquiao could be fair with a catchweight with Marquez and say they meet in the middle at 140 or 137 or something....But Pacquiao has been in WW for a bit now and so that's the main thing.
Chop Chop Corely is the man
at his best he was a tough customer for anybody at 140 and would have been a solid and well paid pro fighter in any era
pro's pro
dude literally fought everybody at 140:
Mayweather, cotto, judah, alexander, whitter, bailey twice, mathysse, maidana, and that's just off the top of my head
i'm sure there's at least a couple good fighter's i've left off
best of luck in the future to him, and hopefully his shoes blow up
Wow that was kind of blunt of him to say. Although I don't completely agree and think it is more of a mix of risk vs reward on both sides, Corley pulls no punches at all!LOL
If he's not washed up and shot then why did he suck against Floyd and Mora too? He had an excuse for all 3, oh Floyd is too good defensively, Mora was too big and didnt want to trade, oh Pac hits too hard.....basically Shane can make no adjustments to any style which means he is shot!!
