Thar she blows!!!!
Paulie MalignantNagging is at it again. Why not avenge his KO loss to Shawn Porter? That was a very one-sided fight. I wonder if McGregor is even thinking about MalignantNagging.:frown:
What went wrong?
What's wrong with the newly hired conditioning coach Mike Vale?
Was it because of Amir's performance (or lack of) in his last fight?
Or did Ariza lower his fees?
Brutally"???
Really? Brutally??? It was an ordinary punch, and Kovalev just sat it out while the ref waves his hands immediately without checking if Kovalev is fit to continue. The entire fight was a ho-hum and not exciting, too much technical moves and lack of motion. What a dud.
Spence tells Brook to drop out of GGG fight...
Yes, Error Spence wants Brook to drop out of the Golovkin fight while he takes his place to prove that he can be a better match with Golovkin than Brook.
Golovkin vs Spence is better than Golovkin vs Brook!
I'm afraid Golovkin will be the underdog in this one... by a wide margin! :boxing:
Gennady speaks English like an expert
After reading the article, I feel like the writer is speaking in behalf of GGG.
GGG doesn't communicate fluently and clearly as he is quoted in this article.
Heavy communication like this belongs to Malignant Nagging or Paulie.
Loma vs Pacman
Arum, then, could make a mega fight between his Lomachencko against Pacquiao at 138, which Arum suggested before. THAT is a fight bigger than anything else and will be very much anticipated more than Crawford vs an unknown. But Arum is hesitant because their grooming Loma might get derailed should Pacquiao "upset" Loma, which is highly probable, and there goes his money-making fighter down the drain...
Crawford not educated
Why will Pacquiao choose him and not Bradley??? Crawford is a newby in PPV and will not sell. Bradley has already made a name for himself and would bring in much more money. Are Crawford and Arum willing to pay the difference to cover Pacquiao's $20-million purse???? I suspect, too, that Arum doesn't want to gamble on the future of his next prospect so urged Pacquiao to pick Bradley who is a proven PPV attraction:boxing:.
Marquez win?
"Batter" is not the right word.
They have only begun exchanging light jabs when Marquez threw a light right hand, and the guy just went to sleep. It was a poor showing by both I think. What a sham.
Pacquiao 3rd in live gate, next to Mayw & Canelo
Quote, "While his ability to move a PPV event remains intact, producing a booming live gate remains another story. Pacquiao remains third only (13,000+) to Mayweather and Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez among athletes to produce the biggest live gates in Las Vegas both this decade and of all-time."
While this may be true in Las Vegas, Pacquiao produced a live gate of over 50,000 in Texas against Clottey.

It did seem like Pacquiao's eyes were not quite on Hatton when he knocked him out... uncanny. like he has eyes on the side of his head.
You're absolutely right, Robert! One of a few who notices it! That's why opponents never see his punches coming, not because of speed as many claim but because they come unexpectedly. Pacman sizes up his foe by glancing at his foot or waist or position and this throws off his foes when they get hit because Pac was looking elsewhere. It's his unorthodox style that many cannot time. He gets set to throw a right and he lets go of a left. THAT's what many are referring to as SPEED. It's not really fast but it came unexpectedly. Manny knows where the head of the opponent is even if he appears to be not looking.
some could argue that Hatton was considered the top guy at that weight, but he did not hold a major belt. The IBO is a fringe organization. It's better to fight the guy at the top without a belt than to fight the guy at the bottom with a belt. That's what Pac has been doing all along.
Hatton, Top win in British History
Hatton might be humble but his victory over Kostya Tzsu was, I think, more significant than a win by Khan over Canelo. Canelo is only just scratching the surface of world recognition, while Kostya Tzsu was a monster in the ring known worldwide, with a punch harder than Canelo's. The excitement of that fight surpasses the excitement of this fight.
Pacquiao says, "Fck u2!"
Crawford's manager is deeply in fear that Crawford's career will or might be derailed if he faces Pacquiao. Too early to gamble, not really tested yet. Crawford needs to mature. They are banking on media reports that Crawford is the best there is, but experience will prevail in the case of Pacquiao. Crawford will fold.
SPENCE, the SHOT-CALLER !?!?
Quote, "I’m the big fish,” Spence said. “I’m the shot-caller now." “If I can’t get Pacquiao, you know, or nothing happens with Terence or anybody else, then we’ll fight Danny Garcia..." These remarks prove that Pacquiao is the REAL shot-caller if Spence cannot land the Pacquiao fight.
Ortiz oozing with braggadocio
I thouoght Ortiz was a humble boy, but lately he has been spouting venom about his prowess and how others don't compare.
WTF!:op:
Mayweather The Best Ever, Better than Ali?????
If Mayweather is banking on his 47-0 record to claim that title of Best Ever, he better think again and remember that Julio Cesar Chavez Sr had 82-0 before he tasted defeat for the first time. Mayweather should try for 83-0  before opening his mouth.
If there was actually a violent confrontation, the 2 women will undoubtedly be oozing with blood and probably unconscious. But I bet when the police came they were in high heels and make-up. Being a family affair and coming from a poor background, I bet the women were asking Valero for some money and they didn't get it. And a shouting match ensued. That's all, a LOUD SHOUTING MATCH. The mere fact that police is involved made it sound like a murder case. Go back to what you were doing!!!!
T-REX Pacquiao???
I wonder why Thurman picked a T-REX to describe Pacquiao, noting that T-Rex has very short arms. Didn't Thurman know that T-Rex was the terror of all dinosaurs in its heyday? It had short arms but boy did it tear up its victims to shreds! It had gigantic legs like Pacquiao's, the tools to track down its victims.
Be patient
Crawford has to realise that Mayweather and Pacquiao worked their ass off for 15-20 years and fought top notch opponents to get there. Hence, they attract MONEY. Crawford will not generate huge revenue with his name alone. If he wants opponents to focus on him, then make sure he's able to pay them as much as Mayweather and Pacquiao do. :boxing:
Mayweather
Mayweather might be showing us more than Manny is but Mayweather is his own promoter and manager. He himself decides. While Manny depends on Arum, Roach, Koncz and who else while he does his sidelines. Secondly, I think the Mayweathers have put a lot of thought in this and concluded that he can make as much money in this fight than against Pacquiao, and would rather lose to Ortiz than to Pacquiao. If Pacquiao was his own man (promoter), I have no doubt he would also choose the most challenging opponent for himself. He does love to fight. One just has to look at his early years to know that he comes to do war. Team Pacquiao is now in cruising speed and would rather put more emphasis on the dollar sign, because they feel he has already proven himself even without Mayweather.
Yes, Sylvester was Rooting For Algieri against Pac
But that was because Algieri is Italian just like Sylvester.
Other than Algieri, Sylvester was all for Pac.
Left in shock????
In the many pictures here, there's not one showing the fans leaving in shock.
The author should have entitled his article "watched in shock".
