I think Usyk probably stops Rico in the 12th, the operative word being "probably". That bogus stoppage didn't serve anyone well, not Usyk and certainly not Rico. At the end of the 12th, however it ended, one of the fighters would have had a great victory but instead, nobody really won.
Its not about the fight making money, it won't now, its about Floyd making enough money to keep from getting his jet repo'd while he loses sports bets. If Netflix wants to pay him and Pac at a loss which they are its on them.
Floyd doesn't need a small payday, he needs a yard sale.
The original fight was years too late. Call this fight an exhibition or don't, the fight still won't mean shyt.
I'd actually be surprised if it made much money. That time has passed.
Yeah, I don't think Wardley has anything like the kind of punching power Dubois brings but I think if Wardley can keep up a good pace and last at least 8, Dubois' heart may fail him again. There are other ways to get a KO that don't require throwing bombs.
Either way I believe that Jake could whoop his ass! I don’t believe in AJ as he no longer believes in himself.
I wouldn't favor Jake to win a rematch with Tommy Fury. You can't be serious.
Ok Cheech. It's obvious why. They are a danger to themselves and others. In other sports it's reprehensible but in boxing well there are no words really.
You mean professional boxing or cocayn?
Let's hope that's it for him. Had his chance and blew it. Hopefully he does the right thing and offers his fee up to refund all those that bought the fight
For the reason I already stated, I disagree. IDGAF if a fighter is using recreational drugs and I don't think they should even be tested for. Why?
Other than the Tyson fight, I'm pretty sure all of Jake's previous fights have been on the level (maybe not Tyson). This fight though, if Joshua doesn't knock Jake spark out, and I don't think he will, I won't believe it's anything but play acting.
Yeah, I don't get it either. In a fair fight Jake has virtually no chance. This is on a level with Floyd vs The Big Show, except that at least with that, professional wrestling makes no serious claims to being a serious sport.
Parker / Dubois is the fight I want to see and the winner getting Usyk. Doesn't seem like that works though, for anyone involved.
Dubois didn't win a single round before he quit.
I'm sure it sells but certainly not a fight I would be hoping for.
Kabayel is the fight to make but of course it would take a crap load of money to make that happen before Dubois gets a Usyk rematch.
He's big and athletic enough to dominate lower level heavyweights but after that, I don't see much game. Distance distance distance, throw the left, repeat. Yawn....
I pray that the next car wreck he's in he doesn't kill someone or leave them in ctitical condition.
Other than that, I'd like him to fight actual contenders but I don't care enough to call upon the Almighty.
