Do you mean that due to the effects of physics and physiology, a heavyweight will generally be unable to execute movement and technique the way a similarly trained and qualified smaller man might? I agree, of course. But we've been hearing for years and years now that Jalolov is the future of the combat sports, and .........I'm not on board. How far would a middleweight with te same talent and skills Joyce has go in his own division? You know the answer. It is a big mens game, everybody has a chance. That is why we should not write Jalolov off yet.

He's big and athletic enough to dominate lower level heavyweights but after that, I don't see much game. Distance distance distance, throw the left, repeat. Yawn....

.....From the look of him today. At least Franco De Piccoli, Tyrell Biggs, Audley Harrison and Tony Yoka each started off looking good before they ran aground. It looks for all the world that Jalolov doesn't even get off the launch pad, which explains why he's wasted his 20's hanging around the High School parking lot fighting teenagers, stealing their Olympic medals. Too bad. We were duped. Agreed. He's got a lot of holes, particularly defensively, and the general lower skill at heavyweight and the magnifying effect of better footwork and hand speed combined with power allow guys with defensive holes to rise thru the ranks, but IMO always results in a rude awakening when the erstwhile contender arrives at the title scene. The more time he spends competing at a low level, the less likely he is to make it at the top level if they ever progress him that far.
