That revision was MUCH needed.
Its ridiculous how prior to this, there was absolutely NOTHING on Sergios OBVIOUSLY INJURED knee.
Green K headed your way.
115 - 112 Trout.
Trout walked Canelo down for most of the night...
He also landed more and controlled the ring, Canelo appeared winded early on. Trout MADE this fight. Outside of the knockdown and a few hits, Canelo was mainly trying to land KO shots with his arms down...
Honestly, I can't see how ANYONE had him winning...
One of the judges gave Trout three rounds. :wtf:
This is the crux of the entire thing. Every single time Canelo threw punches, he took ALL of Trout's momentum away. Trout missed FAR, FAR more punches than he landed and hardly any of his punches seemed to bother Alvarez at all. Canelo landed almost 50% of his power punches and wobbled Trout multiple times plus handed him the first KD of his career.
I just re-watched the fight and Canelo's activity dictated who the aggressor was, Trout had no control of this fight at all. If anything, Trout is persistent, and active but his aggression was not effective. He throws a lot of jabs and keeps coming but every punch Canelo landed moved him and within a few seconds of exchanging, it was Trout who was forced to back up and Canelo became the aggressor.
To all the people saying Trout won, go watch the 12th round when Trout walks back to his corner and just shakes his head and looks at the floor while Canelo raises his hands. Trout himself didn't think he won the fight so let's not pretend this was a ripoff. Trout tells you in the post-fight interview that he wasn't prepared for Alvarez' boxing style and that there were no excuses.
The man tells you that he thought he lost and that Canelo was the better man, so let's give Canelo the credit he deserves and cut the "hypejob" talk because he just beat the best 154 pounder in the world. The time for excuses is over, Canelo is now the best 154 pounder in the world.
There was no need to think anything, by then they already knew what the judges scorecards were...which was a pretty stupid idea to begin with. It allowed Canelo to take minimal risk, even though I had the fight about even during the eighth round...
So you actually believe Trout only won three rounds??
Its digusting how biased some people can be. Truly disgusting.
It's hard for me to say who won that stare down...on one hand Cotto didn't budge AT ALL. He gave Sergio a really cold stare.
Or, you can say Sergio looked really comfortable, it felt as if he was staring deeper into Cottos soul with each head turn lol. It doesn't help that he has an extreme size advantage...
How can you say what pualie said or what his intentions were. You have no idea. all i know is they talked**** to each other the whole fight.
Broner answered Jim Gray's question, same way paulie did when everyone got mad when Jim asked paulie about "biting the hand that feeds you". did broner have to answer that way-no. was talking about taking his girl classless-yes.
but be honest-this is the same rant paulie went on after the diaz fight and diaz said nothing of the sort. Or was that diaz fault?
the people who think he lost are just fishing for something to whine about. he clearly and fairly beat paulie.
No one is arguing against this, the point is a judge scored the fight 117-111.
Broner DID NOT win in such fashion. Maybe a round or two at MOST. Close fight.
i dont see what the big deal is. ggg should just fight him for one of his stay busy fights fights when he usually fights the wades of the world no doubt more people will tune into see him fight lara then a no hope 160 guy. Not that i think lara can beat ggg but i do think he could at least make for a very intruiging fight.
Here is where **** gets kinda ridiculous tho people critique everyone who is "ducking" ggg and then u get guys like lara, ward, and brook who all wanted or still want to fight ggg and they are looked down on over it. it makes me wonder how much is ggg really being avoided cause fighters are scared or is it more money related. like u cant go around acting like ur the most avoided then when u get the best at 154 and 168 at time willing to fight then say well no thanks I was kidding id rather chase around guys who dont want to fight
:hijacked:
You would think NSB would praise a guy who would rather avenge his only loss than to cash out on a mayweather fight like everyone else
But garcia fans aren't real boxing fans so it isn't that surprising

Sad thing is, Danny hasn't done ANYTHING since is close victory over Lucas.
He tried getting an easy victory over Herrera and got SCHOOLED, it was freaking EMBARRASSING. Herrera beat Danny WAY more soundly than what Danny did to Lucas, would of been a completely different night if Danny didn't thumb Lucas' eye. Lol @ delusional clowns claiming it was a straight right, you WISH it was a straight right. Danny then fights someone people never even heard, and now is talking about a Judah rematch?? Ridiculous.
Second fight would be entertaining as hell if it were to go down. If ZAB JUDAH could come out of Dannys mouth as a contender for the belt, Matthysse HAS to be in the mix as well.
Matthyse is dumb for doing this!
At the end of the day, the bottom line is to get PAID. Why else are boxers getting beat in their head for a living?
Matthyse is not a household name in America. He should be doing whatever he can to build a brand for himself. This is a bad business decision by Team Matthyse.
I thought Danny Garcia was light work anyway. Could Lucas Matthyse be CONCERNED about Swift Garcia???
Completely agree.
I don't think Lucas or Danny are concerned with each other, they both should be ready for an all out war on Sept. 14th.
With that said, i'm pretty sure this fight is going to put TONS of pressure on Mayweather and Canelo. Lets see which is fight of the night :boxing:
