from what i can remember of fight 2 i think ggg had a great rally at some point when it looked like canelo was trying to pull away but he bit down on his gumshield and gritted it out, that might have been underappreciated actually, i also remember canelo (and his fans) being the ego manic that he is gleefully declaring he is the better man, the fight was very close competitive to the end if i rememberthey must have been surprised at how competitive fight 3 was then 8-4 instead of Alvarez completely whooping ggg

Golovkin won the second fight 116-112, or 8-4 in rounds. This narrative of Canelo "bullying the bully" is nonsense, the entire fight was fought at center ring and it was probably the best Golovkin boxed in his career. Practically nobody scored it for Canelo at the time btw, that's just a myth that continues to grow. It was every bit the robbery the first fight was.

GGG won the first fight but it wasn’t a very satisfying victory. Canelo landed the better shots but gassed and got outworked by GGG. Canelo won the 2nd one imo.

GGG total domination fight 1 ... time gap and Canelo tested positive twice for PEDs GGG wins fight 2 (Canelo did better than first fight, obviously GGG getting older as well). ^^ As the marketing narrative all about Canelo, of course they try and justify him winning as he did better but fights aren't scored that way at all. I think the most telling fact was that something like 2 from 51 journalists had the second fight for Canelo...suffice said. Canelo wins fight 3 - I didn't even watch it as GGG was 41 and practically retired (cash out fight for GGG).

Forget Disable Sanchez’s Mexican style bs from a purely boxing perspective GGG won both fights. first fight was 8-4 2nd fight was 7-5. Ggg boxed behind a jab. Keep in mind he knows Canelo was juiced to the ears. He was caught doing a cycle just before their fight lmfao

i had ggg winning the first, canelo the next 2, havnt watched no2 in a long time but i dont remember canelo losing that one to my eyes anyway but some do so i should really rewatch but just too lazy
