End of the interview 5.40 he is asked about a Benavidez fight. Does that sound like a person interested in the biggest ppv fight available? Looks like he is using the smack talk as an excuse for not making the fight. Pathetic.
It’s not a big PPV right now. But he’ll fight him next year anyway. People are ridiculous, Canelo has fought the best available his entire career. His card is all time great.
- - Canelo is clearly past his best now, but he's been fighting the best prolifically since age 19 with a ton more fights than GGG.
Seems you don't do math or understand career timelines much less know how to score fights, but that's what I expect on this forum, so there's that.
The best? Let's see, fraud and Lara, and he should have lost two both fights at 154, and the trout scoring was horrible, who else was at 154 that is worth mentioning? Let's move up to 160, past prime Cotto and ggg, he should have lost his first fight with ggg and probably the second too, and the Russian was definitely past his best, 168 now, oh, this is the UK tour, and the best fighter at the weight he's still avoiding him. Now, he's paying for a guy two divisions lower, I hope this cherry-picks goes wrong ala bivol.
He’s got fights lined up, in the mean time let Benavidez make it a bigger fight. Fighters ain’t scared of each other but it is a business, especially when you reach elite status.
GGG spent the majority of his career fighting bums in Europe.
He's fought in the states for almost 11, compared to 6 years in Europe. Don't be fucking stupid.
It's obvious he's taking the easy fights for big money now. Charlo, drunk Charlo, and Spence. He's on the decline and had a decent run, so, not surprising. What's hilarious though is his supporters saying Golovkin at 35 and 36 was in his prime when Canelo fought him and very debatedly won the second fight when Canelo himself is past his best in his early 30s.

I thought PBC fans are just okay with it even when both brothas are holding belts hostages and Benavidez has no current obligations to attend to. Why are you crying now?
You guys really think Al Haymon is going to pay Canelo 100 million and not get the Benavidez fight in there? I can’t see how the Benavidez fight doesn’t happen.

Am old 33 Chavez fought a prime Dela Hoya and Tszyu, thats a real mexican warrior.
Thats somebody that hangs around too long, he got battered, he might have needed the money and nothing to do with warrior, they all warriors lol prize fighting is what they do.
Let's see, he's an old 33, built up a strong resume over time. At this point he can fight whomever he wants (stiffs) if he wanted to and still Garner 50 million plus. I think he's just standing back to observe his work, and take a picture of it before he heads off into the sunset.
The bivol rematch should have taken place at 175 to try for greatness, another strap in his highest weight. Why would he come down to 68 (bivol) when that could muck up csnelos mode. Also obviously benevidez is a monster.
Maybe 3 fights left tops
