What exactly do you hate about Lomachenko? You hate his fans, what else?

I cannot understand why anyone would “hate Lomachenko” or any other fighter who literally risk their lives in a very brutal sport.

Hate is a strong word. I’m a fan of Canelo but some people call me a hater because I don’t love or support 1000% of everything he does. I know this thread is about Loma but I was just using Canelo as an example.

He's arrogant because he received too much hype for no reason. He's still overrated keep in mind his best win was Gary freakin Russell let that sink in.

I think Loma turned out to be not quite as great as many thought he would be, so some of his most staunch supporters overcompensate when discussing his accomplishments. They try to insert him into conversations he simply doesn’t belong in. I’m not hating on the guy whatsoever, he’s a first ballot HOF’er, perhaps the greatest amateur ever and has an incredible resume for a 20 fight pro. However, he never managed to reach that sacred summit that the Mayweather’s, Pacquiao’s, Roy’s, Ray’s, Ali’s etc reached in previous era’s. He wasn’t that era defining fighter many people expected or predicted he would become. There are also a minority of fans who are very anti-Lomachenko, the vast majority seem to be insecure black fans who took issue with a white kid being labelled the best in the world. The same type of fans who took issue with Steve Nash winning MVP over Shaq in 2005. I tend to just ignore that sort of nonsense though, you’re always gonna get the idiots from all races and demographics.

How do you hate somebody you dont know and have never met, where every bit of information is edited, out of context or spoon-feeding an agenda, how the fck can you hate somebody as a result of that, I don't understand the thought process, if somebody can enlighten me Im all ears.

Fighters are not defined by fans. Fans are biased. They're defined by their talent and skill, the way they fought. Who they fought, who they didn't, how often they fought, etc. Fans have nothing to do with boxers' legacy. I see Mike Tyson, I don't see his fans. I saw what he did in the ring via YT.

Always liked Loma but found his fans annoying in the same way I do with any fan boy of any fighter. Also, did someone in this thread really say hating fighters because of their fans is the most childish thing ever and then go on to say he hates Haney because of his dad? This place is hilarious.
