ref stopped the khan-brook fight prematurely

I wanted to see khan get laid out good stoppage though, he wasn’t throwing back and BoMac had the towel in his hand. Actually he said he was ready to stop it from the end of the 4th.

I think Brook still beats Benn. It was a typical English ref stoppage mind. Always in too soon. Khan was never down. He was rocked 3-4 times, but never on the verge of being in serious danger, and when the ref stopped it, Brook was mostly missing. So, whilst Brook was always going to win, I'm not a fan off these stoppages as they can and have become a habit for refs to do this. Imagine a top 10 P4P fighter being stopped in that manner? Khan deserved to hit the canvas at least once. He's earned that right. Nash out. He wasn't fighting back he was just trying to survive and even then chocolate brownies were still getting through and the ones that got through were on the button Khan trains hard and has always had great powers of recovery and he's survived before but if he never punched back in fights like maidana and the garcia loss they would have stopped them sooner too It was a good stoppage he was finished

Saw it from the opening bell to be honest. Such great boxing knowledge this guy doesn't even have to watch the fights to know exactly what's going to happen he probably doesn't have a clue or a sure answer in the build up but the second that opening bell goes off he turns off the tv for the inevitable forgone conclusion that suddenly pops into his mind ;) You're not a fan either that or you're just butthurt Even if you were just butthurt because you wanted khan to win you could have kept watching and hoping khan could have damaged Brooks eye After all its boxing and anything can happen :boxing:

Sky are really careful about people dying or falling into a coma on their LIVE PPV it's why you see the Refs jumping in so often the Benn vs Gman fight and Watson vs Eubank changed the landscape back then even parliament was trying to push for boxing to be banned Either way yea I wanted to see Khan being knocked out in spectacular fashion so the memes would run for days but Brook absolutely battered him it was enjoyable enough I'm just glad he won after all these years of talk

Only because most of us wanted to see the arrogant prick Khan sleeping on the canvas. I'd never actually hated a fighter until Khan came around.

No towel from Bo Mac. Makes me think he wanted Khan punished for quitting in the Crawford fight. They probably had an understanding to not throw in the towel, I wouldn't be surprised if both camps agreed to that considering their rivalry

Kell gave Amir a beating, had Amir on rubber legs a lot and Amir wasn't punching back. BUT when the ref stopped it, Kell just wasn't landing. He was missing 90% of the punches and we've seen Amir in much worse spots. Kell could've easily punched himself out. ​​​​​​Poor stoppage imo, Kell threw the kitchen sink at Amir at that point, if he ain't landing - the fight is on. I think the reason people would complain is because like you said we seen khan in worse situations. We are used to seeing khan wobble all over the ring like a baby deer or or unconscious snoring slumped in the corner. But khan just was not fighting back and he did not seem to really complain about the fight ending either way.

He'd stopped fighting back. It's that simple. The fact that some of you want to see a beaten man continue until he's splattered on the canvas says a lot about you. Non-boxers.
