Fu$* GGG if he gets the fight

I'm not even sure if GGG really wants it. He's been getting paid handsomely by DAZN, almost 10+x more than what he used to get paid per tuneup fight. Why would he still need Canelo? Have you heard him mention Canelo's name since he got his first pay check at DAZN fighting Rolls? Not to mention having gotten rid of his 3 scumbag promoters, then his long time trainer. The guy is swimming in US dollars. He's a wealthy man. He don't need no Canelo bro.

Didn’t do a damn thing outside of fighting Canelo. Doesn’t deserve a big fight. He did nothing. His career is nothing before and after Canelo. His whole career IS Canelo. Hope Canelo knocks him out. he's getting $100m from the murata fight. the japanese are really into that fight.

I've watched GGG's career since Proska, there hasn't been a fight I've missed. He beat the best of the rest, which is all you can ask from someone not given the Martinez and Cotto fights. Still doesn't take away from him sitting around waiting on Canelo. Since that first fight that's all he has done when there were other fights out there that could be made, he sat on his behind content seeing Canelo actually challenge himself and clean out an entire division, even move up to 175 for a fight (which he may do again if he takes the 2 fight deal). I'm just not going to sugarcoat his career when he could have done more like fight a Charlo or Andrade or move up for the Ward fight. I did have him beating Canelo the first fight. Unfortunately he didn't like the heat put on him by DV (the only risk he's taken since fighting Canelo) and he's been content waiting around for a payday. Well the point being is that GGG was solidified as the top middleweight by the time the first fight took place. He was in his mid 30s and won according to most observers. He's hardly going to be extending himself too much. He fought who he had to and had a rematch. Now he's likely looking for a final payday. That doesn't change my point, ggg isn't building a career, he's already had a top career.

I was actually at the fight & that didn't happen at all,the gstans were the ones booing,& Canelo fans were booing because Canelo outboxed ggg(I swear most fans don't know how to score a fight,ggg threw nothing but arm punches/jabs,he was scared of Canelo both fights & got lit up like a Christmas tree) Ggg is such a great mw that he cherrypicked his entire life,& Canelo was a smaller cherrypick gone wrong who g considered all reward zero risk. When time came to fight Mexican style g btched out. Ggg was such a great mw he arguably lost every elite mw fight hes been in yet still insists on remaining at mw by doing 2 week vada after long sabbaticals.(thats why he gets so sick making weight but stays at mw somehow (only fighter to ever do that thats his size) But don't even bother rebutting everything as we're never going to agree clearly. It is what it is,Canelo is 10x the fighter g is Erm I call bs on all that. Any eay, answer my question. Thanks kid.

He was roundly ducked by Sturm and Cotto, came into the top tier a bit too late for Martinez but beta the best of the rest in Proksa, Macklin, Murray, Geale (who had beaten Sturm) and Lemeiux when he was a live contender. GGG wiped out most of those names I just mentioned, so he wa sshowing he was levels above those guys. Who could he have fought that he didn't? Then when it came to fighting Canelo, he soundly outboxed him to such an extent, Canleo's own fans booed the decision. GGG is the best middleweight of his generation bar none. This Fight will be a joke if it happens seriously Canelo should of ran it back years ago or not at all now it just looks like Canelo was aging GGG further just pure bollocks. GGG will probably get knocked out going for revenge for being robbed that would just be sad to me.

40yr old Marquez knocked the shyte out of 32yr old Pacquiao tho. Canelo also turns 32 this year. - - BALCO Juan was 39 with 2 years Memo fortifications and Pac 33 and immediately ducked the 5th career purse fight Arum proposed in a Mexico City Bullring like he ducked the immediate career purse rematch. Suks that in Mexico, Canelo and Manny are more popular than BALCO Juan.

ggg did jack shit at 160 ibs since the canelo 2 fight, and certainly not at 168 ibs. He does not deserve a canelo 3 fight when canelo has been beating various champs at higher divisions. I think it's better if bivol, other top 175 ibers and david benavidez fight canelo

I'd be cool with a third GGG fight, I think he loses but he's given Canelo the toughest fights of his career and I'm sure a third fight won't be easy. It's better than Canelo's last few fights yet people seemed happy with Plant and Smith as opponents. GGG was a better and more challenging opponent and the fights were closer and more entertaining - I believe that would be the case in third fight. With all potential opponents being mentioned, Bivol is the most interesting to me and the one I'd like to see the most yet people seem mad at that prospect too?! I wonder if it's Canelo fanboys not wanting to see him in tough fights?

People crying about GGG centering his career around Canelo like it is a bad thing to get as much $$$ as you can during your career. Boxing fans want fighters to retire brain damaged and broke fighting killers for their entertainment. Why don't you get in the ring instead of complaining about how fighters maximizing earnings potential and manage their careers.

End of the day, apart from the Canelo fights GGG never really challenged himself, stuck rigidly to his weight class despite there being lots of good fights and some potential career defining ones at 168 and above. So his resume is just that, solid but unspectacular and he doesn’t even have a single signature win. If GGG fought the same bigger guys Nelo has, GGG fans would be pounding on their chests yelling ''And what :boxing: !!!''
