Could you post the moment or moments in the Golovkin-Rolls fight when Golovkin appeared to be hurt by Rolls? I don't recall anything of note.
I like GGG. I also didn't say 'hurt' - I said I don't think his punch resistance looked great vs a very mediocre fighter in Rolls. GGG had his head snapped back quite a few times. It was a short fight, check it out.
Charlo has about 0 chance of outboxing Canelo over 12 rounds. All he has is a puncher's chance of hurting a guy who is in his prime, and has never been hurt before in 50+ fights

Feels like GGG 3 should be the first fight in this deal, and then Bivol at 175. Then maybe Beterbiev if all goes well for Canelo.
GGG is 40 but if he wants a 3rd run he should get the opportunity. I can't see Canelo actually beating Bivol at 175 with no restrictions but maybe he can lose 9-3 and get a decision or a draw still.
GGG's punch resistance at 164 vs Rolls didn't look great, and that was Rolls.

Maybe you wanna watch Bivols fight against Pascal, Barrera, Smith Jr.. you guys are some undedicated I'm shocked how you don't see that Bivol is better boxer than canelo. His stamina , workrate, footwork everything is better
Nobody's "undedicated." Maybe I just don't see a fighter the way you FEEL I'm supposed to see him.
Bivol at 175 will be awesome. i dont care about GGG.
only thing that sucks is that locks out a possibility of canelo fighting beterbiev who is 37, so canelo fights him at 38 in 2023 the soonest.
so canelo fought kovalev in 2019 but will take a full 4 years at the soonest to face beterbiev if that fight even happens. that is the single most important fight for him to have made to prove he is the best, now beterbiev is old.
- - Beter old is better then than U now.
GGG would like a word, two words really. Plant and BJS are both pretty slick. To me those are Canelo's best 2 performances.
I agree on wondering why Bivol is the first fight; probably a timing thing. Or it's somewhat of a case of behind the scenes, where Canelo and co. know who is really who. Like how maybe Kovalev was ripe for the picking etc when Canelo sought him out.
My guess is that Canelo's performances (mainly fight 2) vs GGG have given him a lot of confidence that he can compete with anyone. I'm sure behind the scenes, guys know who is who. Might be the case where even an old GGG is/was still one of the best guys around those weights in the gym, and Canelo fighting so well vs him in fight 2 showed he could compete with any of those guys.
I like Charlo. I like his explosiveness. Even vs a younger GGG, I would give Charlo more of a chance vs GGG than Canelo, because of the style matchup, despite me liking GGG more than Canelo overall. Canelo's reflexes vs GGG's would be the main thing.
But Charlo as an actual boxer is very limited for the top level. I think that has more or less been proven. But definitely has a puncher's chance with his explosiveness for any top guys around his weight as well.
While we don’t agree, fair point about ggg fights being very difficult for Canelo.

Right. No hate at all....but he appears to be weakest link at 175 and he looked "meh" in the Joe Smith fight.
Bivol reminds me of Danny Swift Garcia in a way. They both could be destroyers and both choose to let their hands go at a minimal rate and barely squeak by. That finally caught up with Danny and it will Bivol too
If this is PPV, f.ck that, I'm out. I've been subscribing to DAZN because they touted "ppv is dead" and they want pull this BS? Nope.
It’s a Canelo fight, vs division ranked top 2 competition. You reward good beheavior. This is what I want to see for the sport, so it’s what I’ll pay for.
Also guaranteed high lvl boxing to be displayed. These aren’t propped up phonies.
Still don't see what's so special about Bivol....

GGG will be like 40. Why? Lol
Because most observers felt GGG won both fights, the first by wide margins.
The Bivol fight, if there are any weight clauses will be ridiculous, he is probably being paid to lay down like all these bigger guys.
So you don`t follow 175 division.
Bivol is much better fight than Charlo. I would give Canelo about zero credit for fighting a middleweight guy at 168.
no I don’t follow it really. Mainly 160 and down and heavyweights. But I do think canelo vs charlo should have happened when they was both at the same weight class.
I get that it's a little too late for the GGG trilogy but it's still a better fight than Smith, Yildrim and Plant. Bivol would be better than those too. GGG and Bivol would come to win and would believe they can unlike Smith and Plant who were there to survive.
Honestly I never heard of Bivol and ggg is washed to me. Was more so hoping for the charlo fight.

I love this and hope it’s legit. Bivol is a huge challenge. And I don’t mind seeing a 3rd GgG fight even though I think it will be one sided for Canelo.
