Lop they have basically the same resume. The difference being Loma accomplished his in a shorter time. But GGG probably should have at least one win over Canelo. Or at least a draw. I'd say it's the same. Neither are HOFers imo. But they'll both get in.
Loma and GGG the same resume ?
Can we ban casuals like this ? Toxic af
False. False. False. False. Close fight but definitely not some kind of robbery
I respect your opinion but Sergeiy won the fight and the KD was a rabbit punch.
Canelo 1 was either a draw or 7-5 GGG
Canelo 2 was either a draw or 7-5 Canelo
All the above 3 were great fights
90% thought Dervenchenko beat GGG
The truth is the DRAW in 1st Canelo fight was acceptable and the LOSS in 2nd fight was fair...hell GGG even picked judges in 2nd fight XD XD XD

Loma was a 3 division champion and continuously tested himself. Golovkin should have some wins he didn't get but he had debatable wins as well.
There is only one genuinely debatable win on GGG's resume and that's the fight against Dervy. The Jacobs win was competitive but not debatable really. He lost the rematch to Canelo but he should have gotten the W in their first fight.
With that being said, I initially voted for GGG but if I could go back and change my vote it would be for Loma. He's had a lot fewer fights so the ratio between quality fighters and fluff on his resume is much lower than GGG's.
you're the one resorting to an emotional upset because you're upset.
i stated a fact. Salido and Lopez are journeyman level fighters. none are P4P like Canelo.
Loma lost to both of them.
The dude says 'it's not debatable' - and then accuses you of getting emotional when you simply take the other side of the debate? The most childish sh.it I've seen on here in a while lol. I think that guy is like 20 years old. It shows with him.
I think Loma had more exciting/memorable wins. He also moved up in weight, however that is easier at the lower weights.
GGG has been a lot steadier than Loma though. His jab helps with that.
With GGG in a big fight, or any fight, you know what you were getting - high work rate, great stamina, great jab, constant scoring.
Loma was more of a tactician, analyzing his opponent and looking for spots/angles to exploit the opponent and piece him up. That could lead to close-ish fights and 'lower lows' relatively speaking vs GGG fights.
I would say GGG, but a lot of that is recency bias really. The way they end their careers will probably determine who is above who.
Lomachenko. He was the fastest 3 division champion ever (by far). Beat top competition in each weight class, usually in dominant fashion. From a skills perspective, it isn't even close.
And people saying that the Danny Jacobs win is so great I'm not sure what makes that so much better than Lomas win over Gary Russell.
And to the people that say GGG was old when he fought Canelo, well guess what ? he started fighting good competition old.
Wait.. How does that work when GGG isn't even white?
Kazakhstan isn't white.
GGG isn't white.
His heritage isn't white.
This is a picture of Kazakh people.

I dont fully understand it either. For whatever reason white people flock to boxers w/ white characteristics.
Manny is very clearly not white but is very Christian. He was also the "good guy" to Floyds villain role.. American whites loved Manny.
GGG is also Christian and at face value seems like a good guy who just wants to work (fight). He has broken English and resembles a white person. He's also mannerly man with family values. American white people loved GGG.
American whites seem to care about religion and public persona. I think more people wouldve liked GGG if the whites didnt try to claim him.
This site is some weird kazakhstan white supremacy circle jerk. Literally half the posters on here are counter-culture Golovkin fangirls.

Loma has achieved more than GGG. His losses were as a pro novice against a big foe and a much bigger guy who only just beat him.
Golivkin was the 160 monster no doubt. I feel he beat Canelo clearly in their 1st fight and at worst he got a draw in the rematch. But he's only done it at one weight.

Loosely 50/50 both across this site and across the media. I edged it to GGG by the KD at the time... watched it again last year and it actually looks clearer to GGG now, but I ain't got an issue with anyone sees it the other way.
Golovkin should have got the nod in the first vs Canelo, a draw wasn't fair... the second you could argue any way you choose with the consensus probably being that a draw woulda been reasonable.
This site is some weird kazakhstan white supremacy circle jerk. Literally half the posters on here are counter-culture Golovkin fangirls. Everywhere else had Derv winning.
And that "KD" you reference was a rabbit punch that wasn't called. Even with the illegal KD Derv still won the fight.
A draw WAS fair in the 1st fight. Canelo won 2, 3, 4, 10, 12. Rounds 1 and 11 were debatable. Golovkin was the B side and you need to show up big...he didn't.
Canelo WIN or DRAW was fair in 2nd fight. There was NO ROOM for a GGG WIN.
GGG was 37 and won
how old is Loma? he lost.
Loma fought more than 5 world champions (past, current, future) in his entire career. Loma dominated across 3 divisions and both his losses are debatable also.
GGG fought only 1 division and arguably lost to Canelo twice, Daniel Jacobs, and Dervenchenko.
It's not even close who is the better fighter - Loma by miles. Many, many miles.
