Snoop was a welcome addition, and a breath of fresh air, on the Tyson-Jones telecast. A good combination of enthusiastic fan, some basic knowledge of and appreciation of the sport and tons of personality.
What other celeb/non-pro announcer would be entertaining to hear?
Kevin Hart? He might talk too much.
Ruseell Peters? He's a big boxing fan.
50 Cent?
Eminem
50 Cent
Mark Wahlberg
Mario Lopez
Max Kellerman
Jason Statham
Russell Peters
Conor Mcgregor
Lol@ Max Kellerman.
I wonder what Max Kellerman would sound like calling a fight? Such a foreign concept.
I'm honestly somewhat surprised that guys like Snoop and Marshawn Lynch have been able to transition into careers as media pitch men and lovable uncles, considering how over-the-top racist they've been as well with some of their comments over the years.
Just a weird world we are living in these days. I wouldn't have expected guys like that to be so mainstream lol.
Imagine living in a world where people of this level of intelligence are allowed to live and vote in a democracy ? This is that world.
"Wow man what about Mick Jagger? Or how about Vin Diesel? Nah man they should get DJ SkitzBallzz to call the fight and rip some nasty new tracks in between rounds and we can have some b_tches twerking in the background!"
No I thought that shrill voice was his real voice. Lol
Yeah it's a basically a big exaggerated character he plays. Similar to Bobcat Goldthwait though not as ridiculous. Apparently in reality he is very shy, awkward and soft spoken. Also seems to be very very cheap lol. I'm gonna check out the documentary about him sometime this week, seems interesting.
Not really a sticking to the topic here, but I would love to hear Steve Willis call a fight. He seems like a throwback kinda guy, doesn't hold back on his thoughts and very knowledgable.
Kevin Hart would just yell unfunny things the whole time. Russel Peters is an unfunny hack.
I mean if you want someone with an annoying voice, Rosie Perez is a big boxing fan too...
