i think spence beats him pretty easily, one guy (spence) has been used to fighting tough opposition at welterweight whereas the other guy has been in a comfort zone against washed up has beens and C level fighters for the last few years. you cant go from fighting that level of opposition to beating someone like spence at the flick of a switch. its not hard to pass the 'eye test' when youve been fighting trash
He may fight Porter before fighting Spence so that will be good for him. Not that it is needed but more likely these two face off late next year opposed to the summer.
If one of them gets Pacquiao then the other needs to fight Porter.
Going with Crawford in a very competitive fight
It be a more skilled Thurman-Porter
Will be a more controlled outside fight than that fight.
Don't see any way it isn't competitive.
Its interesting to me people think either one of these guys gets stopped in this fight. Neither one has shown to be susceptible to that. They have both taken clean power shots and maybe they were rattled for a minute but thats boxing. I think the more likely outcome is a close fight that goes the distance, Id bet on a split decision if I were a betting man.
Agreed, I don't see either fighter washing the other. Usually when you get these types of match ups between top fighters, it goes the distance.
All I know is whoever wins, the other side will cry robbery but in reality the fight will just be that close. A late KD may seal the deal but there is potential for these guys to fight two or three times.
Both gets smashed by Thurman

I would have agreed 4 years ago however something happened to Thurman in the last 3 years. Injury, really long layoffs between fights took away his prime and he just isnt the same fighter that I thought would take over welter after Pac Floyd era. He seems to have lost his killer instinct and hunger.
By knocking him out in far fewer rounds?
Sure after he drained him. And a win over Brook 4 years later than Spence means nothing. At least Porter was able to build himself back to a championship level. Brook hasn’t done **** in 4 years.

Crawford beats Spence, in my opinion of course. He is just a better fighter. I'm. Guessing the chiefs at the PBC feel the same way which is why they pretend that Crawford doesn't even exist.
I'm not a fan of either but I'm leaning towards Spence. He simply has a much more proven track record at 147. Crawford can't afford to fight someone he can easily beat next. Spence has already beaten Brook, Porter and Garcia.
I just watched the fight and Spence didn't look great against a past-prime Garcia, although he still did well to win after that accident. I think Spence has fallen a notch below the level he used to be though. There's an argument that it could just be ring rust but if that's the best Spence gets now then Crawford breaks him down and stops him within 10 rounds imo.
That is an all time great fight. It will go back and forth, it will have ebbs and flows, it will be competitive, it will be close, and it will be legendary.
Is that a Shakespeare quote?
Spence just looked like crap against the ghost of Danny Garcia.
He is lucky Garcia has no power. Spence would have been viciously knocked out.
No he didn’t. And you could say the exact same thing for Crawford against the much ****tier Kell Brook.
It's a really tough fight to call, Errol is more fundamental, but Crawford is more athletic, spence did alot of the same combos tonight, garcia is not talented enough to adjust but Crawford will, I think either Errol wears bud down and stop him through attrition, or he loses on points
I think Spence is too big, too strong, too physical, and too athletic for Crawford. He’s a big long skilled pressure fighter. Crawford is great but he can be hit.
Yup. Spence is too big for any welterweight.
Crawford has a garbage record. But Spence is made for him.
Spence would get Knocked Out by a right hook.
Spence is slow, predictable and very easy to hit.
He’s really not that slow. He gets in close so his punches land. And we’re not talking Floyd Mayweather here. It’s Terrance Crawford.
