i genuinely dont think tank is above B level. they are matching him with fighters who are there to make him look good, smaller fighters, washed up fighters, sometimes a mix of both. mayweather has absolutely no faith in him whatsoever and is just feeding him soft touches.
Are you saying Tank is following the ggg career pattern?
At lightweight Teo has a considerably better resume - eye test wise I can see either guy winning.
I think Lopez would still hold the early edge with his size and probably explosiveness edge. Tank is explosive too though so it would be tense at the beginning. I feel like Tank is more likely to get caught with a big shot or shots, but I feel like he has a bit more 'dog' in him than Lopez as well.
I didn't love how Lopez looked late in that Loma fight. He looked nearly ready to go at times, almost like the moment was catching up to him. Not to mention his comments after Nakatani, and just in general he seems a bit 'immature' still. After beating Loma, you wonder if it will be a little bit of too much too soon for him.
I would favor Lopez due to the size edge - but let's be real - this fight isn't happening any time soon. Floyd has Gervonta on the Money May blueprint and that means avoiding tough fights like this unfortunately.
If Haney/Garcia/Tank aren't fighting each other or Loma/Lopez in the next fight or 2, people need to boycott them until they make those fights. It's time.
So what.
Anything coming from a puncher like Teo will hurt.
I’m a fan of Teo and I picked him to beat Loma but honestly I was disappointed in that fight. Not all Teo’s fault but it is what it is.
Lol people bringing up Leo hitting Tank. I ain't saying Davis is great defensively but nobody cares of LSC hits them.
Exactly, they are making too much of a big deal of that. At one point Davis wasn't too concerned by the incoming. He even said that when he got hit by him he would not move and he knew that he was going to catch him.

They say it as if Lopez has never been hit lol. It's boxing. They are going to hit each other.
I like Tank to win by KO. To me Tank and Inoue are now the best KO artists in boxing. Tank has KOed 23 out of 24 pro opponents for 96% KO wins and can KO any fighter his weight he can hit clean with big punches. Lopez is a good puncher at 75% KO wins but Tank is the best puncher in this fight. Lopez is an attacking fighter who is not that hard to hit. Lopez might win on points or by KO but Tank winning by KO seems like the most likely outcome to me.
who has tank fought though? the guys he fights are complete stiffs and often a lot smaller. he should have a 100 percent ko ratio in reality and he shouldnt be going 12 with shot gamboa. its not a surprise after that poor showing that they matched him with a smaller come forward fighter with no power that throws a lot. he checked all the boxes: smaller so tank woldnt get hurt, no power so tank wouldnt get hurt, throws a lot so tank would have openings, somehat big name so idiots would buy it. a guaranteed ko and the grift can continue

Definitely good record...
How many of the names can you remember on his resume?
The higher the competition, the less the KOs will come.
I think Loma was a little bit intimidated by Teo’s size. And Loma’s game plan was to win the fight late.
Those bombs coming from him might have had something to do with it as well.
