this would be a non issue if the wba stayed true to its word of getting rid of the bogus multiple wba belts. we all know Pacquiao is the real wba champion. crawford has been vocal about fighting guys who are much better than ugas. he's called out Pacquiao and spence several times.
I hear you but unlike Ugas, Pacquiao and Spence are not realistic options in the very near future (6 last months of 2020).
As for the WBA, unfortunately, they have never been serious about eliminating the "regular" belt. Lately, they have simply "re-branded" the regular belt, the regular champion is now a World Champion and the full champion is the Super World Champion. Such a farce...
Tr/bomac turned down porter.
brook is supposed to be next but there have been difficulties.
no pbc name is under discussion.
there is your news for the day. thank me later.
Yep, that his my feeling also.
Obviously I want to see Bud vs Ugas, but with Besputin PED issue, I can see the WBA World ("regular") belt becoming vacant and with Ugas being ranked number 1, he might go that route, win the belt and then fight a "unification" fight (depending on how you feel about regular belts) for more money down the line. He then becomes a much more valuable commodity for the PBC stable.
How much money does Arum want to pay Ugas to steer him away from the WBA route?
And as usual, Bud is not being vocal about the stuff that really matter such as fighting Ugas instead of Brook. this would be a non issue if the wba stayed true to its word of getting rid of the bogus multiple wba belts. we all know Pacquiao is the real wba champion. crawford has been vocal about fighting guys who are much better than ugas. he's called out Pacquiao and spence several times.
Ugas will fight Butaev for WBA world belt

Nice fight, hope to see that as TC's first fight back.
Fought well against Porter, but Porter was not fighting in his usual style/pace that I remember. Porter almost blew that fight trying to look slick and make faces like he was comfortable. Can't see TC being that uncomfortable even if Ugas is able to stalk forward like he doesUgas fought his fight against porter. Yordenis make the fight uncomfortable and porter didn't "almost blew", he lost.
Ugas came in short notice. 8 days if recall. They brought the cuban to showcase dulorme. There's was no robbery and I don't know what you are talking about the ref helping Ugas. Ugas vs Crawford is going to be a really good fight.
Yer well Terance has been copping alot of heat for not fighting the pbc fighters but thats not on Bud.
Bud will fight whoever they put infront of him.
Bud will take over the division if he can get the fights he needs. its only the pbc shills who blame crawford for not fighting pbc fighters. the rest of us normal boxing fans know al gaymon refuses to do business with bob arum. fury vs wilder 2 was the exception!
If I recalled correctly it was Ugas who put down dulorme twice and was almost out. And it was Ugas the one on short notice. Not dulorme.
Ugas put dulhorme down early and then dulhorme put ugas down later, both came in at short notice, dulhorme was supposed to be fighting an opponent at 140 though. The only reason Ugas won here was because Vic draculich....well, was being vic draculich...and suddenly took 2 points off for no reason other than Ugas was looking like he was going to lose.
Holy fuck who picks Ugas?
Hes trying to get the others but none of them want the fight.
Porter verbalized he wanted it but who knows what's really happening at negotiation tables.
Nonetheless Ugas beat Porter so Crawford dominating and/or stopping Ugas is a good win.
refresh your memory on Ugas needing a crooked reff to get past Thomas Dulhorme who came in on short notice, moving up in weight and nearly knocked Ugas out.

How does an undisputed, 2 time lineal, 3 weight division ruler step up when the whole division in running from him? He's on the same side of the street as Fury but if you ask Booster Porter, Keef, 11-Toe Garcia and Stuntman Spence, they will say he is from another planet. Yeah, they see those unworldly skills. Guaranteed he stops one of them. That's what they are afraid of, being stopped for the 1st time in their careers. Remember he is 5-0 with 5 stoppages above 140. Made Diaz who is an Olympia look like a high school gym fighter. Broke down a puncher kavaliauskas in a pocket fight while fighting the WRONG stance by CHOICE.
Crawford hasn't fought any elite fighters, so you can throw all these fancy terms out there, won't change anything for me. Adrien Broner the 4 division champion, how good does that sound?
His promoter should put the money up if he wants the top guys to fight him, that's always how the sport works. Engis just had a draw with Ray Robinson who isn't a top 20 welterweight before he fought Crawford, then he dropped Crawford before being stopped. It's okay though, it happens.
The fact is other top welterweights are fighting eachother, Crawford is just about to start doing that...if he even fights Ugas.
I actually want to play golf soon.
Never really have played. My brother loves to play so maybe he can show me how it's done.
Best thing to do to get started is go to a driving range, hit some balls, work on your swing and see what works for you.
I’ve only been playing about 3-4 years myself. Still very much an amateur in every sense of the word. :lol1:
The only one I had beating Crawford or 50/50 was Spence, pre-accident. Not anymore. Ugas will present a challenge as any of them would, including Spence. Garcia-Crawford would be fun too. I don't like watching Porter.
I'm a Spence fan but unless that accident was staged, a part of his brain might be too mushy for punches. He should take a few tune ups to see where he's at. He's not the same. Or retire now.

Good post. Green K.
Good step up for Crawford. Ugas is the #7 or #8 147, but the division is so stacked there's not really much in it between the top 8 imo.
