He could beat any heavyweight from any era with that freaky right hand, end of story.
I wouldn't write him off against any heavyweight who has ever laced them up.
Does he have good enough footwork or the jab to have kept say Holyfield off of him? That power may look otherworldly but it's easy to maintain that power when you aren't facing guys who can get in there and attack the body.
He could beat any heavyweight from any era with that freaky right hand, end of story.
I wouldn't write him off against any heavyweight who has ever laced them up.
He couldn’t beat Ali. Even if the punch lands. Ali could take it. Case closed.

Did you just put Tua's in the same class as Ali and Holmes? Tua, who never won a world title.
These Wilder fantasies are out of control. He could not beat any top 5 heavyweight from the 70s-90s. The best of these era's would easily take away his right hand through any number of tactics. He looks good because the current heavyweight division is probably the worse in the history of the sport.
Almost anyone not name Ali, Holmes and Tua

Wilder is a throw-back and a link to the great HW boxers of history. All of them were tough, dangerous, and with a particular skill set or another that would lead to disaster for an opponent.
Would Wilder beat them all? Probably not. But every fight would be such a huge event, because people would recognize that two very dangerous men were gonna be trading hostilities. This is the very essence of boxing. Someone almost always loses, and at HW it could be either guy, always. There is no human head or body around that is exempt from catastrophe after the power of skilled blows by large men.
Wilder would fit right in with the greats. Even many that casuals don't realize were great ... like a Cleveland Williams (who like Ali knocked out a dangerous Sonny Liston). I think the past generation of fighters "boxing fundamentals" were much stronger than todays fighters, but Wilder's incredible reach and power would serve him well with anyone. :boxing:
Sure, I suppose.
But other heavyweights throughout history also present more problems than he has ever faced in his career.
So, there's an equal and possibly even greater chance that he would/could lose to any other great heavyweight throughout history.
But did they get outboxed over 12 rounds? I reckon that will happen to Wilder at some point. Won't get his shot off and he'll cop an embarrassing wide UD.
Some of them have actually!
The GOAT of boxing himself Sugar Ray Robinson lost to Turpin by getting outboxed in their first fight!
Duran got outboxed and then quit against Leonard in the rematch!
Hopkins got outboxed by Dawson!
It’s boxing, shît happens and it doesn’t take away from Wilder!
It just means he was bested by the better fight on that night!
But to say that your basically waiting for the day Wilder to lose says it all, he’s doing something and has MADE IT officially!
When people discredit what you do as you succeed and await your failure means your doing something good!
Will Wilder retire undefeated? Very unlikely as it’s the heavyweights and it’s more significant that one punch can change a fight!
10 title defenses isn’t easy, many all time greats fought plenty of lower level fighters and have actually lost a few of them so to do that without a loss and a draw is remarkable!
Can’t wait for the Wilder/Fury rematch, gonna be another classic!
Wilder= Garbage the Randall Bailey of the HW and only reason he can connect is because HW can’t move for $h!t, wilder he has not improved at all just straight out overrated garbage and idiots here want bash on mike Tyson skills, sites a joke
It's true. That power is insane and there ain't a heavyweight who could laugh off a big flush wilder right hand.
On the other side of the coin though he's a really average boxer at best and any of the better heavies from previous eras would smack the life out of him long before he finds one of his wild rights.
If he lands then probably 80% of HW in history would go down. But if some of those guys doesn’t go down then he would be in trouble himself. Fury is the only person on his resume that he could be proud off but that version of Fury got up each time from those two KD to outbox Wilder for the rest of the rounds.
Idk.... Fury don't have a granite chin. If he got up i can see plenty of other guys getting up as well
That's sheer will power and heart. His chin isn't the best as he got dropped by a smaller guy before.
Plenty of greats lost to average fighters especially at the heavyweights!
It’s boxing and anything can happen!

What you're saying is that he's have a puncher's chance. And I agree.
I think he'd also get beaten by some very average fighters. Which is why he's not a great.
