I thought Bad Chad was a dumbass for going down to 168 to fight Dre, but that aint got sh^t to do with Dre. Chad agreed to it. Cant agree to something then cry about it nor should fans get all into it either if the fighters agreed to it and no one gives ward credit for that win so you kind of proved every critics point.

If Canelo isn’t willing to face the same fighter every other challenger would face for Kovalev’s lhw title, then winning that title means very little.

Kovalev does not live a a healthy life as GGG does. GGG vs Canelo 3 is still a pick em fight, Canelo will be a 2:1 favorite over Kovalev or even higher. GGG dropped a prime Kovalev in sparring many years ago. Canelo knows with GGG being DAZNs partner and basically his boss Golden Boy couldnt pay off the judges for the third fight and Canelo would most probably take a loss to GGG so he fights the guy who GGG dropped and who got knocked out twice recently. This is a classic example of a deluded G fanboy, they think sparring rumors are gospel and they think a middleweight in canelo is taking an easier fighter by fighting a light heavyweight who is still a champion :lol1: G would NEVER take a risky fight this and jump up 2 divisions like canelo. I've always thought that fight would be a lot more competitive than people think. They assume Ward would out muscle him in the clinch and rough him up but I don't think people realize how strong Golovkin actually is. If he doesn't want to be held, he'll find his way out. I agree with what you said about clinching. The big problem for Ward's opponents is the headbutting, elbows and low blows. Incredibly most of his opponents don't retaliate.

I'm still mystified as to this puncher that Canelo seems to be. Guy has respectable pop, but I've never considered him that kind of puncher.

I don’t expect that. I think this fight going to put Canelo way up their in terms of accomplishments. Kovalev is so good at boxing that I think Canelo is taking too much of a leap if anything. As much as everyone has Canelo beating Kovalev. I wouldn’t be surprised if Canelo gets tkod with amount of jabs to the face he’s going to take from someone who is significantly bigger. It's a great fight though, unless there's a catchweight or dehydration BS, it's definitely one I'll look forward to.
