Is Joshua Really That Chinny? Got Caught With 2 Flush Left Hooks

Joshua was hurt a number of times before and was never an iron chinned fighter. It seems like his ability to take a punch has deteriorated even more with time and that's a big liability.

He is a bit chinny, but it’s heavyweight boxing. I actually think AJ’s defence in most fights has been ok, he’s never been very easy to catch clean despite being stiff and upright but you have to say that every significant shot that’s hit him in his career has hurt him. So i say it’s fair to say he doesn’t take a shot very well.

Roy has a very small head. this is a temple shot KO can you imagine a temple shot KO happen to Hopkins or even Glen Johnson himself? No. They have more durability. when you have a weak temple spot on top of your chin, then your entire head is vulnerable at any time. where as guys like Hopkins or GGG can just tuck their chin and not worry about anything else.

First punch landed on the chin, second punch landed on the temple. Temple is the worst place to get hit. I don't think Joshua has a good chin but i don't think he's chinny either. He has been knocked down 5 times in 5 fights. Four were against one guy, but still. He also got wobbled by Whyte and Povetkin. If a bigger puncher than Ruiz hit him last night he'd have been out in one shot. Wilder or Ortiz would not have let him get up three more times.

Parker got hit with the same type of left hooks and was never hurt. Joshua's chin is not that good. Parker has a great chin tho although Dillian Whyte did put him down with a monster left hook...but Parker never went out
