Im a big AJ fan. Im well and truly gutted and still a little confused by the performance by Joshua last night. But im a bigger fan of the sport as a whole than i am of any single fighter and i love underdog wins, shocks and generally anything that brings a BIG DRAMA SHOW to the sport. Mixed emotions when ruiz ****ed AJ up but its still cool and reading up on Ruiz and his emotions post fight gives me a buzz. Over the moon for Andy Ruiz. Gutted for AJ.

Joshua would have probably lost to Big Baby too. He has no heart, and once that chin gets cracked he falls apart. AJ would destroy Fury, though. Joshua's chin is definitely suspect. Lesson of last nite's fight: Don't trade with a fighter who has faster hands than you do.

Now Kownacki should win against Wilder so that we would have a great battle of two tanks with good chins next year.

Gotta agree that if Ruiz did that to Joshua then Miller probably would have been capable of it too. Moot point though because he blew his chance spectacularly and doesn't deserve to fight at such a high level again. At least Ruiz is clean as far as we can tell.

Miller would of done it much easier than Ruiz. Joshua was always protected by refs in the UK when he got hurt.

Gotta admit I did lmfao when I saw the news this a.m, but then I would have done the same if Wilder had got ktfo by a massive underdog too... all this marinading BS and back and forth went on waaay too long and folk forget that in boxing - at HW - in particular anything can happen. Small segment of the US fanbase will be insufferable for a short while I guess but I'm entirely sure they will be no worse than my compatriots would have been - dudes in rival fanbases are always virtual mirrors of one another.

It was great to see this underdog come in on five weeks notice and KO Joshua.
