I really didn't expect Bud to control Khan like he was a child. I had Loma as #1 P4P, but thought it was close to being a toss-up. After this, I really can't pick. I really see Crawford and Loma as equally talented guys. One's a little faster and busier, the other a bit stronger.
Not that anyone here ever changes their minds, but if you were open minded, did this change anything for you?
Lomachenko and Crawford imo are the two most complete fighters on the planet. I think Crawford is a slightly better fighter. He has extremely high ring IQ just like loma, but p4p has superior physical attributes such as punching power, reach(on a p4p basis), stronger for his division and a better in fighter.
I have them both the same as I did two weeks ago. Both fights went how I expected. Crolla is a C level domestic guy, and Khan has been shot for a while.
Now looking ahead at Loma/Comney and Crawford/Spence (hoping both are next) Those will be a far better gauge.
This really for me. Loma and Bud are 2 very different style of fighters but i struggle to split them at the top of the P4P rankings and neither of their most recent fights have changed my opinions on it. Those fights were not career defining fights, they were not big tests and the outcomes were pretty much inevitable.
Also looking ahead i totally agree about those fights being a better and truer gauge or their positioning.
So yeah, what he said.
Khan is just a name at this point. You can even say Crawford should have koed him inside four.
I mean Crawford isn't a huge puncher so I didn't expect him to get a KO within four rounds. But Khan is definitely a fighter who is closer to being shot than in his prime. His reaction time is gone and his legs are not what they once more. I mean he still landed some clean shots and I thought late 5th round and even in the 6th round, he may have landed his best shots of the fight lol.
Nothing Crawford/Lomachenko did in the past week should sway anyone's opinions. Both were in huge mismatches and did what they were supposed to do.
Nothing changes for me. We’ll start to see changes in the next 2 weeks with Estrada vs. SSR and Canelo vs. Jacobs. If Estrada KOs SSR then I’ll put him in Inoue’s spot. If he decisions him he stays at 5 and if he loses he goes down a few spots and SSR enters the top 10. If Canelo KOs Jacobs he obviously stays in the top spot and nobody would be close to him. If Jacobs upsets Canelo then he would go way up and Canelo would drop down behind Spence, Crawford, Inoue, and Jacobs.
1. Canelo
2. Spence
3. Crawford
4. Inoue
5. Estrada
6. Usyk
7. Nietes
8. M. Garcia
9. Jacobs
10. Joshua
Inoue #4, why?
Inoue above Usyk, Estrada etc based on what?
Certainly not skills, resume or absolutely anything boxing related surely
Weird Night! No I don't think that secures #1 P4P over Loma because of the strange and controversial ending
Both are Top P4P fighters though for sure but I think ESPN was expecting a thriller with a great ending and that did not happen
No, Crawford just doesn't have a strong resume to rank as high as #1 P4P. Hell, I don't even know if he should rank over Canelo and Usyk, let alone Loma.
Canelo is #1 by merit. By far. It’s easy too. If youre not first youre last so it’s a toss up after him. I cant with a straight face call bud 1 p4p when I cant even say he’s 1 at WW. If Loma were to beat Mikey Id have maybe considered him over Ginger boi but if Canelo beats Jacobs it's harder to unseat him. Crawford and Spence (and Thurman) have the competition in reach to make the argument by beating each other but until then, I’m going gingerlicious, Loma, and then Bud/Usyk.
That last GGG fight just cant compare to anything the others have done in their entire careers, let alone the rest of his resume. Hell, they may never get a win that good at all.
But lets see how it plays out. The top p4p guys are all special its kind of cool to have such a divide but also terrible for loma and bud to be kind of in limbo with the promotion beefs.
I have a difficult time rating him tbh with the amount of questionable decisions he has.
Great fighter he's definitely up there just not sure where exactly maybe around 6th or something.
That’s just wrong
Not his biggest fan but gotta give credit where it’s due
Great fighter and even better after his loss to Floyd
I feel like Tcraw could've knocked him out any minute by bum-rushing him. Just decided not to and give a spectacle instead
Yeah bud toyed with him. Horrible ending.

Where the fugh do you raté Canelo then
:poke:

I still have Crawford #1. You are right he was toying with Khan out there. He also seemed to have quicker hands than Khan and of course his timing is exceptional.
I think Bud’s concern tonight was to get that all spectacular knockout
Maybe just got to anxious

I think p4p #1 is open and nobody has established themselves as clear cut. If anybody has IMO its probably neither Lomachenko or Crawford but Usyk.
Usyk, Lomachenko (though I feel he's better than Usyk he's yet to prove it), Crawford in that order.
I feel Spence is up there also and Sor Rungvisai especially if he can beat Estrada again.
Where the fugh do you raté Canelo then
