Is Mikey Garcia another Adrien Broner?

? Maidana beat his ass. Not disputing that. I'm just saying he wasn't dominated. Broner even stunned him late in the fight. People remember this fight differently because of the KDs. Between the KDs Broner held his own. In fact, of all the Broner losses, this fight he put in the most effort. He definitely took the most beating from Maidana but it wasn't completely one sided.

Mikey/Loma was considered a 50/50 fight. When the last time Broner went into a 50/50 fight with a p4p fighter?

Both 4 division champs with weak opposition. When they stepped up against flawed big guys they got thoroughly dominated. I see the parallel. Both have the skills but simply do not have the physical gifts. What u think? Flawed big guy? TF u talking about!

Let’s see, Mikey beat Broner so there is that. Mikey is not big enough to take on Spence or Crawford. There are good welters that he could beat. There are reasons for different weight classes and we saw that when he fought Spence. He could not hurt him. Mikey is my favorite fighter, but he should be thinking Loma for his next fight. If he wants to fight a welter for a title, try Pac.

Not really, I think Mikey is a better fighter as shown in their h2h. But unlike Mikey, at least Broner took challenges earlier in his career while Mikey was protected. Both were overhyped though (Broner a little more).

Both got no business fighting at welterweight. The ONLY reason there there is that’s where the money is AND they both like to eat too much.

Broner definitely has physical gifts but has terrible discipline and Mikey has great discipline with no physical gifts... you're really getting everything backwards with this post.

He beat Broner EASY. He's just a much better fighter than him. Did he look foolish in spots against Spence and get dominated? Absolutely, but Spence looks to be one of the special fighters of this era. He needs to go out and prove it, but he's the good. Spence vs Crawford on paper is the best match up with two in prime fighters at WW since Trinidad vs DLH. Can't wait!!! But hopefully it doesn't disappoint like that fight lol. Agree and nice post! the Garcia-broner fight was sh i t and broner did not get dominated Mikey won damn near every round. Call it whatever you want but it was certainly one sided and Mikey clearly outclassed him. He is on another level compared to Broner.

Broner is smaller than Mikey. He's absolutely not smaller than Mikey. Broner was a HUGE 130 pounder, and a big LW. Small WW for sure, but he's a naturally bigger fighter than Mikey.

Mikey's 1 dimension is far more vast than Broners. On that note Mikey depends of fighters who wear cement shoes for feet and Broner was within that dimension LOL Mikey is like a small Kelly Pavlik and has a great 1-2, but once they saw guys who could use foot speed and angles they looked really bad. I'm surprised Robert was not telling Mikey to punch Errol in the nuts between rounds.

I think he is much better than Broner because he easily beat him recently. That just makes too much sense to fly here you should know that lol.
