korobov beats him easier 2nd time round. he'd barely fought in 2 years, fought one F level bum but that appeared to be enough preparation to beat that 'young lion', the one who was going to 'light up' canelo and golovkin :lol1: :lol1: If the Charlos were Caucasian, you'd be creating post after post about how great they are.

Meh who gives a fucc, no point them both going back in time when the winner should be progressing. It might be unfair depending on your point of view but I'd rather see Charlo closer to a title shot rather than further away from one. The division is jammed up already.

I think if Korobov gets a full camp and time to prepare for 12 rounds he could beat Charlo. Just make sure Larry Hazzard isn't around to judge a fight ever again. If he beats him he will have earned a fight with GGG and Canelo. He may not beat him though. Anyway guys like that are who he should be trying to fight and not guys like Monroe. He doesn't need to "earn" a shot against GGG or Canelo. Charlo beating both Derevyanchenko and Korobov in the rematch wouldn't change a thing. He's ordered to fight GGG, which likely won't happen and then he will be Canelo's mandatory...Which won't be called for a while.

Korobov rematch is actually the only available fight for MW Charlo. A fight which fans may not object to. That is if he wants to come back soon. Others have all their next fights scheduled already, Andrade, Saunders, Jacobs, Canelo, Derevy, Brant, who else?

It was close but I thought he clearly won. I don't think a champion is obligated to rematch everybody who puts up a good fight. The fact is Korobov was ranked 45th by boxrec and totally unranked by everybody else. Jermall should not have defended his title against him in the 1st place. I would rather Jermall fought a real top 10 middleweight for the first time in his career. They are available but he is just not fighting them.

The fight was as close as the Jermell fight, if Korobov was black and born in the US he would have gotten the decision as Harrison got. Rematch would be good when both have a full camp, lets do it.

He doesn't necessarily owe him, but it would be nice to see him convincingly win and to do it sometime soon. It doesn't look like he's going to get his shot so instead of sitting around waiting, run it back.
