The hypocrisy and double standards in this forum are hilarious.
Charlo is in his absolute prime and should be fighting the top 5-10 guys in the division to make himself heard.
First he fights an obviously injured, one legged Argentinian, who should not even have been cleared to fight.
Then he fights Centeno, an unranked inhouse opponent, who has beaten absolutely nobody, a lanky bum who already got demolished by Sulecki, a fringe contender, a dude who fought at 154 the last couple years and has a measly 35% ko ratio.
When they asked if Charlo was ready to step in to face GGG on May 5th he made excuses.. #induetime LOL
Whats Charlos best win? Austin Trout.. Wow, what a beast he is! not #lionsonly it's #littlesimba
GGG fought Jacobs and Canelo back to back, signed to rematch Canelo this May and gets criticized for facing late replacement Martirosyan, who was never stopped, has a very deep resume and gave Lara, Charlo and Andrade a run for their money, guys who supposedly GGG was ducking.
People act like GGG wanted to face Vanes all along and blame Canelos failed drugtest and him pulling out of the biggest rematch in the sport on GGG.

This forum is hilarious, eating up all that manipulation by the American media who hype up the American fighters and try to discredit GGG, pathetic haters who dont even have their own opinion and have zero common sense.
Jacobs fights Sulecki, which is another total mismatch, that guy fought at 154 the last couple years and now moves up to fight the biggest middleweight on the planet Sulecki has short reach, no power and is still a superwelterweight.
Sulecki has a 35% ko ratio, what is he supposed to do vs Jacobs at his backyard?
He is ranked at #10 at 154 by the Ring, behind guys like Liam Smith, Austin Trout, J-Rock and Michel Soro, whoever that guy is.
These people applauding the likes of Charlo and Jacobs for beating up these bums yet hating on GGG who fought #1 and #2 at Middleweight back to back are just something different.
Why aren't Charlo and Jacobs fighting each other and both fight these mismatches instead??? Somebody tell me please.
Charlo knows that GGG is either forced to face Derevyanchenko next, or they make another exemption and let him face Canelo in September, the third option is a unification with Saunders.
Does Charlo have a chance vs GGG? Nobody can tell unless he actually fights somebody in the top 10 and makes himself heard. Not by fighting these absolute nohopers.
Terrible fuking comparison and a reach. For one, Charlo vs Centeno was a Undercard Fight and not being sold as a Main Event and a replacement for GGG vs Canelo. That is not me criticizing GGG because again him having to scramble last minute for a replacement opponent is not even his fuking fault :dunno:
If Canelo did not "Eat The Meat" he wouldn't be fighting Vanes! Nobody hyping up the Centeno win, Jermall did what he was suppose to do in Impressive Fashion and now it is on to the next! Hopefully he gets Jacobs or GGG next!

hmmmm..no difference..lets hold em to the same standard...lolol...friggin idiots i swear
Davis is no prospect...he's a current and former "world champion" remember. Its a replacement opponent for Borat because clenelo popped dirty, cut him some slack
Agreed. Centeno and Heiland are very low level guys.
The Charlos are clearly talented fighters but we need to see them at a higher level now. The one time we've seen Jermall fight a top guy, he had to really dig deep to pull out a close decision against Trout.
Same with Jermell, the one time he's fought a proven top level guy in Vanes, he was in a close fight that could've gone either way.
I do rate the Charlos but right now they haven't done enough to warrant the hype they're getting.
Is Gervonta Davis on the p4p list? He’s still on the upcoming prospect list. Dumb Comparison. There’s different expectations for certain fighters if you don’t know that you shouldn’t be watching boxing
He should be. What's the bases for Triple Duck's ranking?
This topic is brought up ad nauseam. It's simple to me:
1. The Vanes fight is bad. No way around it. It seems as though Vanes was willing to fight and risk it for a $120,000 pay. Spike wasn't. Gennady wanted a whole camp to prepare for Sergiy and enough time to promote it. It sucks, but that's the reality of it. (The "he's just afraid to fight his mandatory" narrative is played out)
2. The "lion" Jermall will have to wait until after the Canelo fight. And he knows that. So barking about it just isn't going to cut it. In the meantime, he should continue building his resume. He hasn't fought anyone in the top 10 since moving up. Outside of the WBC, both Andrade and Jacobs are top 5 in just about every other sanctioning body ranking. Those would be extremely good names to have on his resume.
3. Those who have a problem with Gennady NOT fighting Charlo next need to direct that anger and energy towards the WBC and the IBF. They are the ones that are dictating his mandatories. As it stands, WBC has it's priority rematch. The IBF has it's long overdue mandatory. All while the Saunders unification awaits, which technically could trump all of them - not money wise, but the fact that it's a unification, it CAN put the rest of them on hold.
We as fans don't get to decide who should fight who. We certainly don't get to decide who is afraid of who just because certain fights don't happen just because we want them to. Unless your last name is Mendoza, Sulaiman, Varcarcel, or Peoples - we don't get to choose a thing. All anger should be directed towards those 4 names.
Oh oh you presented a thoughtful realistic analysis of the situation. Get braced for a firestorm of criticism from a certain group of idiots.

And Davis is praised for Knocking out a dude that he pulled up from featherweight, coming off a loss and who hasnt fought since 2016....Just like Vanes...

Jacobs was available for many months after the GGG fight.
Charlo just ignored his availability.
Jacobs is now with HBO and Hearn.
Jacobs ran to boring HBO soon ass Haymon mentioned Charlo name lmao. That’s the reason they were beefing. Now he’s fighting bums while delivering horrible ratings and boring fights. I’m sure HBO will let Hearn go as soon as the lose out on AJ.
Who gives a ****, governing body rankings are always joke. Centeno isn't even a top 20 fighter let alone 4th. Why can't Charlo fight Saunders Jacobs Andrade. Why's it got to be bums or golovkin (who's probably gonna fight Saunders who is WAY more proven than charlo) and nothing in between.charlos got that entitlement mentality like a lot of your fighters have got.
Centeno was ranked by BoxRec and other rankings as well lol. I see u ignored that. Ggg is a fraud that is scared to challenge himself. Charlo has less fights and already moved up in weight. That’s why ggg won’t make it to theHOF.
Your fighters actually have that entitlement/ChristopherColumbus Mentality. They think everyone is supposed to cater to them and that they own boxing aka Eddie Hearn.
If Charlo beats BJS he’ll have a similar or better resume than ggg smh. That’s why he was scared to move up and fight Ward.
I don't think it's the Charlo's faults that there is no one to fight right now. I think the time will come. I am disappointed in the Trout fight though. They have to do better than that.

Even with the inactivity Vanes is simply a better fighter than Centeno.
Both terrible fights though.
Charlo needs to step it up now he looks the real deal to me but he's not fought anybody.
