Can a fighter decline blood/hair testing for religious reasons?

As far as I know, there has only been TWO examples since 2006 of a fighter refusing testing due to personal beliefs. One guy faced a 2 year ban. The other guy.......well......lets just say he's a real sleezy politician.

I dont think so. All NSAC needs is one hair follicle so i dont think you could use a religious excuse for one strain of hair. Its not like hes getting a haircut.

He could but it would be the same as failing the test. A boxer's religious beliefs don't change the rules. They are the same for everyone.

Serious question. Can, let's say Canelo, decline any further testing and claim religious beliefs? No. And if that ever happened...then you might as well allow PED use in boxing.
