Sure GGG took his power like nothing. But you have to wonder could GGG take this punch from himself?

This is the overhand right that slept Ishida who went all the way to HW without getting KO'ed. this is the right hand that launched big ass SMW Murray across the ring. this isn't the right hand that slept Amir Khan lolololol
Don't really care what 'idiots' claim regarding Kovalev. They're idiots for a reason.
Simon doesn't qualify. He's not championship level fighter.
Maclin, yes, excellent KO. However, to me, that is not 1 punch KO power. That's a terrific liver shot, which is more about technique and accuracy. Same as Liam Smith Canelo. Nobody will claim Canelo has 1 shot KO power.
Ishida - yup. Only example I agree with.
Geale - he sprung right back up after the shot and was walking fine. When ref asked him if he wanted to continue, he shook his head.
Rubio - he also got up without many problems, and even tried to protest the stoppage.
Here's Murray describing Golovkin's power as thudding. Here's another NSB thread discussing Golovkin's power, with people noting that Golovkin's wins are TKOs, not KOs.
To me, Golovkin has the potential for a 1 hit KO, but that's not his style. He's very accurate, relentless and heavy handed.
WTF? MOST RETARDED LOGIC EVER. If it has good accuracy and technique then it dosen't qualify as a 1 punch ko. LOLLLLLL.
I'm willing to do sig bets on both. Luis Ortiz wins by KO/U.D & Hurd stops Lara.
Ok. Forgive me for sounding ignit bro but what do you mean by Sig bet? I have Lara beating Hurd by many rounds on the cards and I have Luis Ortiz taking a nap.
Canelo is another case that shows a fighter's chin is not fully developed untill around the mid 20s. He got hurt badly early in his career when he was very young and there's no way in hell the same shots that rocked him would hurt him today.
bull*****. proven.
idiots were touting Kovalev as the 1 hitter when he doesn't have any 1 punch KO's.
GGG has probably the best 1 punch KO selection in boxing right now.
There isn't a single other p4p fighter right now that has as many contender/championship level 1 punch KO's.
Simon left hook
Macklin Left hook body
Ishida right overhand
Geal straight right
Rubio left hook
those are all 1 punch KOs

We all knew he had a good chin, however that was just one shot. If you think back to Dorticos-Gassiev fight, Dorticos took several clean, hard shots. It took until the ~10th for his chin to start showing cracks, and many more until he finally cracked. If Canelo takes a few of those, then yeah, that's a great chin.
Also keep in mind that while Golovkin has been described as heavy handed and having tremendous power, opponents describe his power as thudding, very much unlikely KO artists such as Julian Jackson. Golovkin has heavy hands, you feel every punch, but it is the accumulation and the accuracy that is terrifying, rarely a 1 shot KO.
Canelo was able to neutralize Golovkin's accuracy, and thus came out of the fight looking good. Let's see which fighters makes the best adjustments for the rematch. If Canelo can find a way to setup and sit on more punches, he can easily hurt Golovkin. If Golovkin can find a way to slow down the fight and connect with more punches, Canelo is going to be in deep trouble.

Nelo even learnt head shake like Floyd when opponent lands good shot
Ca$hnelo has kankles though so I rule him out of contention for best chin in boxing. You're not supposed to get knocked down or out if you have tree stumps for ankles. How the hell do you knock down a tree stump?
Who has the best chin for fighters with normal ankles? Borat maybe?
:lol1: a legitimate question
Bummelo will inspire the Million-Bum March and thus Bums shall never fall asleep again on park benches because they have seen the light!!!! The light of LEDs on X-mas treees!!
Bummelo is truly an inspiration to chinnery
:lol1:
Those LEDs tho!!!
It landed flush on Ishida's cheek close to the chin, while this landed on the nape/behind of the ear of Canelo, huge difference.
Lol both of the fighters in your sig are about to lose their next fights. I'm assuming you know that. Right?

If that landed right on the tip of Canelo's jaw and he had the same reaction I'd be impressed.
The funny thing is when Canelo tried to take the center of ring late on and trade with GGG (think it was round 11 or 12) he took a shot from GGG which visibly hurt and he quickly went back to trying to fight on the back-foot and pot-shot
