I have Gvozdyk dancing circles around the slow, flat footed and somewhat unidimensional Beterbiev. Who gets this in your opinion?
Agree 100% on Beterbiev. He can punch seems like he might take one too but little too early on that but I can see a few at 75 I would pick to beat him.I know he was a top am with wins over some very good guys but I'm just not seeing it.Add square to slow and he better have a GREAT chin.
LOL yeah actually I did forget. However the knockdown are vastly different. Gvozdyk was hurt because he got caught. Beterbiev jumped right up and the kd was from a punch when page was moving forward, I'd define it as a push more than a fight. There were a few exchanges like that in that fight. Dirty brawl.
I know, I know, just yanking you chainb. But Gzozdyk got dropped by being reckless and it was a flash more than anything. But I do agree that if he did get caught things could go bad, question is will Beterbiev be able to.
Urm, Beterbiev has been down too. Remember the Jeff Page incident?

well beterbiev ko gvozdyk in the amateur, he even admit beterbiev broke his nose in a video if i'm not mistaken
but it can go in any way in pro, who knows
Agreed, but post Lomachenko Gvozdyk is a whole different animal.
That would be a dream fight. I'll go with Gvozdyk, but he's been down before so we know he can be hurt. Beterbiev is huge, tough and very strong.

Yup its was here on Boxingscene "he broke my nose and I went home"
I pick Beterbiev easier than what people think.

Gvozdyk is definitely the more skilled one imo and is more fluid and longer, but I think artur has far more power and his work rate is absolutely ridiculous considering all his punches seem to be hard. I think because he seems to be a bit robotic that his skills are over looked. I also think the fact he's built much better gives him the ability to take more damage. I personally like beterbiev more so I would have to go with him, but can see it going either way.
