Look, I'll just say that if Rigondeaux wins with NO QUESTIONS ASKED, then he is obviously by far the no.1 fighter on the planet. It won't even be a question.
But even that's probably going too far as you know something insane is going to happen that none of us thought of

I’d say, no question. Hell, the argument can even be made that he’s number one even if he loses to Lomachenko, depending on the quality of the performance. A man loses to a P4P opponent two weight classes above him in a close fight? What do you say about that?
He's number whichever way he beats Loma because of the weight jump and Loma's ranking. The current #1 failed to beat an unranked fighter convincingly, let alone a top 5 p4p, and never moved even one division.
