So we all agree if the fight is remotely close the decision goes to Canelo right?

Oscar alsways has 1 judge in oocket, CLEARLY. If Canelo manages to put up half the fight Jacobs did, and stays on his feet, there is no doubt he's getting the decision. And make no mistake, if Jacobs and brook can win rounds vs GGG, so can Canelo with his much faster hands and flashy punches.. I reckon gggs jab will give Canelo issues. But if somehow someway if Canelo can stay on his feet and bag up rounds early vs the slower ggg, he can steal a decision. I fear ko is the only way ggg can win unless he gets 2 or 3 knockdowns which I don't see happening. I thought ggg would dominate Canelo prior to the brook and Jacobs fights. But to me he's slowed down a little bit, clearly isn't the same fight 5 years ago or so. A 30 year old ggg destroys Jacobs I'm and brook wouldn't have looked as good as he did.. I think both fighters are a little overrated, especially ggg at this point in his career. I was gonna bet on ggg, not now. I'm gonna throw at least 1k on Canelo and hope he makes it to the final bell.. he will not lose a decision. Crowd will go nuts everytime he throws a punch as he's in Vegas and the underdog. Ggg must go for the ko and if he does, kudos to him.. I fell into the Canelo hype train lol, Im starting to think it's his time. If they felt they couldn't beat ggg they would have continued to duck him. They seen something where they feel they can win

You will always favour one guy over another, could be any reason. Sometimes u get too much credit just for doing better than expected, no credit if u do worse even if that worst is still beating ur opponents best.

Yes and Golovkin's team knows this. They better KO him or completely dominate. If the fight is close like Jacobs they lose and I'm not going to blame the judges. Golovkin and his team know exactly what they need to do. alone going into the fight thinking "i need to KO this m'****er to win the fight" is a huge disadvantage psychologically. feels like everyone wants canelo to win, even fmj said canelo will KO GGG haha. don't think he believes that himself, don't know why they try to end triple g's run, he is one of the best p4p fighters right now ez top5.

So how does oscar always get to these judges ? Who are the judges and referee gonna be? Anyone know yet? How are they constantly getting away with bribing these judges and them never being investigated etc? The judges are paid by the promoter, not the athletic commision. It's up to promoters of both fighters to agree on who the judges are. . Unless k2 know every single judge and does background checks on them.... all they can do is not let some judge from Argentina that no one has heard of to sit ringside. This is how Horn gets a wide decision fom the random judge, as Arum controls both fighters and there is no one to disagree with his judge selection.

It's just a bit ridiculous to say it's GGGs fault if he doesnt knock Canelo out.. Canelo has never been stopped or even knocked down as far i can remember, in almost 50 professional fights. It would be another cheap shot to the sport when this fight is plagued by corruption and another terrible decision. When GGGs wins 7 rounds clearly he should get the decision (sadly he won't get it though and probably needs to win at least 9 rounds to get it).

How are they constantly getting away with bribing these judges and them never being investigated etc? it doesnt necessarily have to be with bribes but im sure that does happen all the time. i think its more of an understood thing. you judges and refs are here for a reason and if you do what you are supposed to you will be back. if not.....back to the minor leagues. the choice is yours....i think its more of a self selecting system like politics that self selects for corrupt people

if the fight isnt close the decision goes to canelo. do you know how boxing works sir? every single fight gives us more and more evidence to just how corrupt it is. pay attention! they manufactured andre ward a guy who no one likes or watches. they certainly are going to do it with someone who has an actual fan base. remember canelo only lost to mayweather because floyd was the a-side if that same exact fight happened against someone else canelo walks away the winner. the winner is already picked. all the officials are there to make sure it is carried out. the a-side fighter is there not to get knocked out and ruin the money train.

Its not going to a decision. Canelo doesn't have an iron jaw and that's a good thing for him because he is going to receive a beating. That move he does where he leans back to avoid punches isn't going to work against Golovkin. He's going to get caught when he is leaning too far back and can't properly defend. Then there is his tendancy to take rests. Then there is his tendency to go to the ropes. He has to make a lot of changes if he is going to win. Bad habits die hard.

I don't think they are over rated at all. GGG is old but still damn good. Canelo has improved with every fight and he is just coming into his prime. He is very strong with an iron jaw and two fast hands that have real power to head or body. If he could rematch Mayweather, Lara, Trout and Cotto today I think he would knock them out. I am talking about the Mayweather he fought and not the Mayweather who fought Conor. If the fight goes the distance and it's close I am sure Canelo gets the win. If GGG can dominate him and win most of the rounds I think the two judges Oscar doesn't have in his pocket will give him the fight. If Oscar has two judges in his pocket then GGG needs a KO to win.

If it's similar to GGG-Jacobs, then Canelo will get the decision. A liver shot forcing Canelo to curl up into a fetal position on the canvas for a 10 count.... that's an example of the way for GGG to guarantee himself a win.

Nothing to add. Either GGG knocks canelo out or he loses (which would be his own fault). I am rooting for GGG, but I think Canelo will get the decision (no matter if he deserves it or not, maybe he WILL deserve it).
