Guys that think rigo has a chance.....let alone WIN need electro shock therapy asap.
so rigo at 37 years old, whos 1 good win came 4 years ago, is suddenly going to jump up 2 weight classes and beat a guy that towers over him, is more skillfull than him and more powerful than him after getting dropped by total bum's multiple times,
It's not even a competitive fight ffs. do you guys actually know how small rigo is? i really don't think you do.
I used to think Loma would have an edge, but the more I see him fight and his general attitude towards Rigo, I'm starting to believe otherwise.
Came to say the same thing. I had Loma by decision but this Saturday I couldn't shake the feeling that if that were Rigo in there, Loma would have been seriously fuqed.
I used to think Loma would have an edge, but the more I see him fight and his general attitude towards Rigo, I'm starting to believe otherwise. I see Rigo taking him out in the later rounds. Loma's come forward style would play straight into Rigo's hands and the guy has no power.
And if Vada is involved, there might be a drop in Loma's performance.
He has never been dropped or stopped unlike Rigo who got dropped by japanese journeyman
Rigondeaux gave up almost a full foot of punching distance in height and reach combined. The KD looked the product of carelessness.
I wouldn't put much stock in it.
Loma can get caught dropped or stopped at any point in that fight
He has never been dropped or stopped unlike Rigo who got dropped by japanese journeyman
Yea I agree. Anyone who thinks Loma would win is a white supremacist or an Uncle Tom.
There's no tribalism in boxing at all. No clue what you're talking about.
Source for this?
I read the 124 number a few years ago. You will have to type in the following to find a source that comes close to supporting my statement, as Boxingscene will not allow a link to a rival site: (No spaces.) http://www.boxing news24 .com/2013/03/donaire-vs-rigondeaux-when-size-isnt-enough-to-win/
The third paragraph states Rigo walks around at 126. Of course, the article is 4 1/2 years old, so he may be walking around now at more, or even less. But anyone that follows Guillermo knows he doesn't look any different in or out of the ring.
