Speaking of Lamont, is he going to sit on his mandatory spot until Thurman throws him a bone sometime in 2018!
 probably...remember it took 17 months for him to fight for that spot in the first place
Dulorme has always had the "look" of a guy who was supposed to ascend and ascend; anyway, he's not going to like the action Porter brings.
I suppose he will have opportunities in the fight to bite down and throw when he needs to throw and that is when Porter is lifting his front leg to comie inside -it's telegraphed to me and that is what part of Brook keyed in on in that fight.
With his height and technique, he should be able to generate enough power to hurt Porter if he is willing to throw at the right time, just not sure he will do it. He does have the holding part of the blueprint down though as we saw against Mayfield (who resembles Porter's style somewhat). I expect to see the same scary look on Dulorme's face at some point- we'll see if he is able to get through that mental block
Porter stays busy no matter what...back when he was supposed to fight Thurman in March last year instead of June he did a live sparring session to not get rusty
Garcia will have to do one of three things: face Porter, have a rematch against Peterson, or answer the call of Errol Spence. The Peterson rematch is just an idea I threw out there but it may be better for Danny to take that

LOL okay. YDKSAB. Duly noted.
He's a top 20, top 30 guy. I don't consider that a bum & no its not elite, but its something.
And idk about nobody. Lundy & Mayfield are decent enough names. Not necessarily top 10, but if they were top 10 Dulorme would be top 10 now. Granted he hasn't done anything except give Crawford a few competitive rounds before getting KO'd since then & its been awhile, but most guys aren't even giving Crawford competitive rounds before getting KO'd or losing wide which should give him some kinda points even though I don't like giving points for L's.
As for Porter I bet Porter is LOVING staying active. I doubt he had any expectations of Garcia taking a fight anytime soon cuz we all know Garcia fights twice a year & he's not the guy who just randomly pops up for a fight. When Garcia fights we'll hear about it 2-3 months before it goes down so you can bet your life & all your worldly possessions today that Garcia won't be fighting til Sept. 27 at the earliest as of today so Porter should be staying active in the meantime cuz I think thats best for him.
We all know why you don't think Dulorme is a bum cause Porter is fighting him and Crawford beat him. If Danny fought Dulorme you would be calling it a cherry pick!
Dulorme isn't a bum so you are either new to boxing or DKSAB. Or just a subpar troll maybe.
And fighting on the biggest card of the year + in 6-20 weeks vs Garcia is better than waiting on Garcia to fight again whenever that will be. This ain't complicated at all.
Dulorne isn't a bum but he's certainly nowhere close to elite. B level at best. He's been stopped twice and hasn't beaten anybody worth a damn, and that was a division lower. Big letdown for Porter I imagine.

I've seen Dulorme plenty of times and he is a definite bum.
This is a very UFC type of thing to do. Throw a fight card on free TV to get people amped up to pay for the PPV.
Yeah this is definitely a UFC-style boxing event. Have the "prelims" on FOX leading up to the PPV with all sorts of ads for the PPV on the broadcast..
Really? Who are these fighters fighting top guys Nd how often have they fought them?
Let's just take porter for example. He has fought 4 times in over 3 years. One against a nobody, once against a has-been, once against a hype job Nd once against thurman.
1 out of 4 is not remarkable especially considering how long the time frame is.
Good to see this post ended the useless garbage of a counter argument presented by certain people on here.
:haha::haha:
At least own up to your sick bullsh*t.
"I actually can't remember how it got there":pat:
well if you don't believe me, you can ask one of the mods
I'm not really here to defend myself to some nobody who always tries to gain my attention :bottle:
Porter is staying active on the biggest card since 2015 while Garcia is awkwardly interviewing cats.
Staying active>waiting on Garcia to fight for his 2nd & last fight of the year.
He could be fighting Garcia next instead he's fighting a bum.

this has been happening for floyd ppvs in the past, shobox with tmt fighters on the friday before his ppv fight
LOL@ Ali vs Holmes?????
What kind of pathetic creature are you?
That's like
LOL @ the Native American genocide
If you know my posting history you know I wouldn't type that. I actually can't remember how it got there. Probs lost a sig bet or something years ago.
Having said that how is it relevant to this thread?
Not a bad fight, but not what I was hoping for. Porter stays busy and will fight anybody, hope he gets that shot at Garcia or rematch with Thurman after this
PBC guys? For the most, PBC guys have been fighting more top guys than any other fighter from other promotions

... On Jul 19, the Ring said that this fight is close to a deal for Aug 26...
I'm good to go! Still trying to sort out a deal with @EddieHearn ..... https://t.co/qmeF1nAGLm— King Clev (@NathanClev) July 21, 2017
... Then nothing...
Its money, Hearn last week https://mobile.twitter.com/EddieHearn/status/888358847966060544?p=v
Man, when are tehse PBC guys gonna fight more than one top level opponent per 12-18 months? This is getting ridiculous now.
lmaooooooo are u serious??????????
