Kell Brook has weighed in at 156.9lbs for his IBF world title fight with Errol Spence, who was 155.8lbs on the check weigh-ins.
Both fighters are only allowed to put on 10lbs between Friday's weigh-in and Saturday's check call.
These two gonna be in the 160's come first bell.
What does this IBF business mean? So the check call is like 10 in the morning?
Not criticising it but I literally don't know what it means I'm also interested in the dietary element.
I'm guessing they carb load up until three hours before the fight. These two aren't welters at all though, tbf.
Once you get ALL the organizations to do the next morning weigh in, then all of them can make it 4 hours before the fight.
If the check weight has to be under 10 lbs, then Brook must have had to cut weight this morning while Spence seemed to make it comfortably. Suggests Brook is gonna be bigger than Errol.
Never in question in my eyes. Spence is slightly taller but Brook is much thicker in his torso and limbs. Much stockier
Both are big WWs and i don't think size will have a significant impact on the fight past who made weight better
The IBF acting like they really care about re-hydration abuse. If they were really trying to clean it up, they reweigh would be two hours before the fight.

The IBF introduced it to attempt to stop people from severely draining themselves then putting on too much by the time the fight comes around the next day. Such a yo-yo is incredibly unhealthy and this check weight is designed to limit it to a degree.
