I want to thank each of you for your words of inspiration, I am so overwhelmed by the support you guys have given me and my family. I'm overjoyed how you guys have been here for us during this trying time. I use to sit back and think to my self, how can anyone post to Facebook or any social medias during heartache and pain. I see how now, reading the comments, knowing I have so many people who care about Ishé Smith, not the guy who just puts on gloves was so refreshing, and honestly it was those comments that kept me going. This has brought me back in touch with some people I haven't spoken to since I was a teenager or I haven't spoken to in years, man it felt so good to connect with so many of you who both watch me and Latoya grow up. I hate we had to re connect under such harsh circumstances, but I appreciate you all, and I'm so sorry for any role I played in is not talking. This has shed light on what you guys mean to me, again I'm sorry it took something tragic like this for us to speak, but I promise going forward I will be better in keeping up with you all. This has also shed light on what people are just acquaintances, I honestly didn't think I had many in my life, but unfortunately the people who I speak to quite often disappeared on me, it hurt to say the least but at least I know now rather than later. Again words cannot express my gratitude, you guys help me pull through one of the most difficult times of my life. Valarie Lopez thank you for all that you do for this family, answering the call of duty far and beyond what that duty calls for. I know this has been a tough situation on you, but I love you for being strong, and being here for our family. No one deserved to die like this, no one deserves to go out like that, it saddens me not just of her passing, but the way she died. Please continue to pray for me and my family, as in the coming days I will need it to get over more obstacles, please continue to pray that this savage killer is brought to justice.
