We called Wlad and Floyd Boring for years...

I appreciate them both but neither has been in a FOTY for a reason.....they are not entertaining, just very effective at what they do/did. FOTY is always two guys going back n forth beating their brains out..yes it's fun but Floyd doesn't get hit often so he never qualifies for FOTY..

Not really boring, but Klitschko's illegal tactics made it ugly and he should have been disqualified. Mayweather-Berto was more boring. I rescind my previous post, it was actually the May/Pac event that pissed off pretty much everyone (regardless of Pac or Floyd stans). May-Berto is the proof, the so called face of the sport couldn't even crack 1 million.

There are just as many exciting fighters fighting today as ever in my opinion. If the fights of Canelo, GGG, Loma, Kovalev, Frampton, Santa Cruz, Spence, A.J.,Wilder and many others don't excite you maybe you should check your pulse.

Mayweather was never boring to me. I'd rather watch him than Thurman/Garcia/Spence/Porter/Bradley any day.Maybe so but I disagree with Mayweather being more exciting to watch than Spence. Spence is a seek and destroy killer who has slaughtered and KOed everyone he has fought for years now. Spence would be hard to beat for pure excitement unless his wicked attack to both head and body and him ending his fights with brutal KOs bores someone. It sure doesn't bore me.

Nah, they're boring. I haven't seen Klitz or payed for any his fights, same with the other one. Heavyweights are fat slobs who clinch too much, nothing interesting about them.

Floyd was never boring Wlad was sometimes boring, especially when got really old

Vlad was mostly boring. Mayweather became boring towards the end of his career. 2016 sucked because of bad fights, ducking, marinating, stupid mandatories, etc. Boxing doesn't need either of the two guys mentioned.

Mayweather was never a boring fighter, he had a couple boring fights though so people exaggerate. His fights vs Cotto, Mosely, Marquez, Madaina 2X were fairly action packed and entertaining. Vs Guerrero and Berto were fun to watch too. Vs Ricky Hatton was a very exciting and fun fight. Boring? The Pacquaio fight was boring (although it was a masterful performance), and to a lesser extent the Canelo fight was boring. Zab Judah was an extremely entertaining fight though. Even his total dominations were fun to watch, vs Gatti and Baldomir were fun to watch. The thing with Floyd is he came up all the way from 130 and he didn't bring his power with him, so he didn't finish guys ate 147 and 154.
