Should Roy Jones Jr Retire?

IIRC he tore his biceps in his last fight and is all but retired because of it. from what i've heard jones does not need money. he made a lot of it when he was boxing. HBO likes him and wants to keep him around. i think he's good in the broadcast booth. that's a six figure gig, and if roy's faculties remain intact he can do that for many years to come. just think about how much better he is than foreman and lewis. lewis was a nice guy, but he could hardly speak coherently. and fforeman was an ******* and larry and jim couldn't stand him. i liked jones more than ward, too. ward was very articulate, but he was a bit too bland and cold for an expert commentator.

He should have retired when he fought Omar Sheika and even before that when he fought Ruiz and made history at the time. after those fights he hurt his legacy big time. Don't think it's a money related issue because he also comments various big fights and I think he gets paid good money for those fights.

Have no problem with Roy still active, could care less about his ongoing career. All I know he was the best boxer I'd ever seen.

He should've retired after a trilogy with Tarver.... Should've never gone after Johnson or the last 15 years of being trash. Ruined his image greatly.

Nah. Roy is just barely out of his prime. I still think he's got enough to squeeze out 36, maybe 37 fights before it's time to cash out. Thats of course if he wants to retire and not let the sport retire him.

Im 47, Roy's age, and have been watching boxing since I was 13, consistently....I don't think I have ever seen a fighter tarnish his legacy the way Roy has....Who knows how he'd be thought of if he'd quit after Ruiz...he is pretty much the only GOAT level fighter who I worry might actually die in there...Just to those who think Im criticizing Roy unfairly, I think Roy would have beaten pretty much everyone in history from 160 to 175
