Give me Thurman/Avanesyan, Garcia/Berto - Winners meet to unify

Avanesyan is the interim WBA title holder. Berto is a former WBC title holder. Haven't watched Avanesyan, but Thurman had a tough fight with Porter (had Keith winning 116-112/115-113) and was evident that his neck injury effected how he was able to train for the fight so he can have a "keep busy" fight as his next match. Berto I think would pair up well against DSG and I think would surprise most by how competitive he would be. Exciting fighter so if he was to pull off the upset and Keith was to win the aforementioned match-up then him and Keith could have a battle of Florida. Then maybe Brook/Vargas can fight the winner of a potential match-up of let's say . . . Spence, Jr./Peterson.

Looks like these match-ups will be the ones next to be made. Not sure if they'll be able to do it on the same card, but if possible that would be great.

That is likely what they will have to do to get to a Unification Bout because the WBA will likely order Thurman to fight David Avanesyan next and it doesn't sound like Thurman will just Drop that belt nor should he since his goal is to Unify So yeah while this doesn't sound appealing it would be a good way to build up their fight while having them both get their Mandatory's out of the way so they can get on to bigger fights but damn WTF is up with these belt organizations rankings? But yeah if these fights get ordered I don't think they will have a choice unless they both pay up some step aside money I guess :dunno:

Garcia/Berto would be a very good fight, would be an easy sell with the networks and getting people in the venue/arena. Did you go to the match man? how sad, losing again a final :( No... Berto sucks, come on.

Why not Thurman vs Garcia & Avanesyan vs Berto on the undercard or does that make too much sense? Enough of the mismatches just to see a good but far from great fight that should be happening regardless. Thurman vs Garcia winner meet the Brook vs Vargas winner. I am seriously so sick of Berto, Collazo & Guerrero being recycled. Can we not like get a league together like that BKB thing and have them just constantly fight each other over & over again or something rather than getting undeserved title shots when they pretty much can't win a fight between them that should only be merely just to stay somewhat relevant anyway.

I think Thurman earned the right to go straight to the winner of Garcia vs Berto without having to beat Avanesyan first. The Porter vs Thurman fight could have gone either way but Thurman got the win and he is the champ. Thurman could fight Avanesyan next if he beats the Garcia-Berto winner.

There's been rumors of Garcia-Berto and Avanesyan is Thurmans mandatory so I like this idea, especially as a double header later this year with Garcia-Thurman (we assume) early next year

Or....just fight each other later this year? Danny's not doing anything anyway I'm taking a pragmatic approach. PBC could make those match-ups a double-header on CBS, NBC, FOX, etc. Then have the winners (Thurman/Garcia as the ideal) meet in a PPV match-up.
